About this mod Machine translation
Completing the main quest and guild questline provides players with new perks and powers.
What's this?
Completing main quests, DLC main quests, and faction/guild quest lines can grant the player some perks, which may be passive abilities or usable abilities. The power granted can be either a "greater power" (can only be used once every 24 hours) or a "lesser power" (used at will).
The Legend Edition version is available here
If anyone wants to make a console port, feel free to do it, just put a link to this page in the description.
Mod details
All added perks and capabilities will be listed in the Active Effects menu, if using mod SkyUI you can sort this menu by Source so that all added effects are listed together.
Perks and permissions are retroactive, meaning you can install this mod on an existing save game and it will add perks to completed missions.
Balance added abilities and abilities based on the "importance" and "difficulty" of the quest lines involved. So, for example, the abilities and perks gained from the Main Quest and Dragon Nest DLC are stronger than those gained from the Companions or Thieves Guild quests.
Here is the complete list of all new perks and powers and their effects:
Main mission: Give Dragon Slayer passive skills
"Whenever Alduin's Killer uses Shout in combat, there's a chance that all nearby enemies will be staggered.
This effect applies to hostile people and creatures. The chance is equal to a percentage of the current player level, so at level 30 the chance of the stagger effect is 30%.
Dawnguard DLC for Dawnguard: Grants passive skills to Guardian Paladins
"The Paladin permanently gains the blessing that grants nearby allies 100 points of physical damage resistance and 10% magic resistance during combat."
The effect is permanent on the player character, and during combat, the bonus also applies to nearby friendly (people and mobs).
Dawnguard DLC for the Vampire Side of Volkihar: Grants the secondary power to summon the Royal Guard
"While in mortal form, the Lords of the Vampire Clan of Vokihar can use the power of the Summon Royal Guard to summon the strongest gargoyles to serve until destroyed."
You can summon an outpost-level gargoyle that will serve you for as long as it survives for 100 Magicka points. Summons count towards the limit of summoned/summoned creatures.
Dragonborn DLC: Gives Devouring Dragon secondary powers
"Witnessing Mira'ak's summit at the Hidden Peak, the Last Dragons can wield the power of the Devouring Dragon upon its will to consume its soul and replenish all life."
This power only affects dragons that are completely affected by your will-bending shout. It kills them instantly and restores your stats, just like Miraak did with Dragons Sahrotaar, Kruziikrel and Relonikiv during his final battle. When you use this feature, your character won't yell or actually say "Zil Los Dii Du" because the line doesn't have voice files for various races and genders.
Companion: Grants the Herald a legendary passive ability
"The pioneer's strengthened resolve inspires nearby friendly peoples, increases their courage, and enables them to recover more quickly from wounds in battle."
Your health is permanently increased by 20, your health is restored by 50, your allies (only people, not creatures) gain their confidence by 1 when you fight them, and you regenerate 2 health per second.
Thieves Guild: Granting Kingpin Privileges Greater Power
"The Guildmaster of the notorious Thieves Guild can use Kingpin's perks to coerce and convince nearby hostiles to stop fighting for an hour."
This power is a powerful area calming effect (similar to the Harmony spell, but free and instant) that can be used to quickly get out of trouble and control crowds in combat, but only works on those below level 60.
Academy of Winterhold: Grants the Aether Vein passive ability
"The Archmage replenishes mana from damage every second during combat. The lower the health is …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
