**introduce**
This is a port of my original mod (
I know there is another similar mod (technically mine's 'old'). This mod adds Nord NPCs that are dead before you even start the game, or die regardless of the player's actions, Nord characters from past Elder Scrolls Games and new universal NPCs. This also changes existing NPCs from past old reel games to resemble their original appearance (excluding Ysgramor, only past old reel NPCs have been changed)
If there are "duplicate" NPCs added by other similar mods, just disable them using the console. This mod is more for aesthetics, no scripts or quests etc.
However, my focus is always on my 'Arweden Custom Voiced High Elf Companion and Quest' Mod, and I'm working on a V1.5 Redux update that will be released for the Special Edition and Skyrim Legendary Editions.
This mod is very simple. It adds more NPCs to Sovngarde. However, not just any old NPCs... the NPC additions are from past Elder Scroll titles, mainly... TES III: Bloodmoon Expansion and TES: Oblivion. That's right. For those familiar with and experienced the bloody expansion, all those massacred by Udyrfrykte in Thirsk will appear again in Sovngarde.
Ulfgar The Unending is a character in TES III: Bloodmoon Expansion. His visual appearance has been modified to reflect his Blood Moon counterpart.
Below are the added characters and a brief summary. Obviously the armor won't be the same..different games..but I try...for example Agnar the Unwavering has a fur shield and steel ax on his body, he also has Sovngarde.
For those who have completed the game and cannot return to Sovngarde...unless of course you have mods that allow you to return.
Console command: coc sovngarde01 to get there
Added Characters: Please see comparison/game appearance in the images section.
- SVENJA SNOW-SONG *
Svenja Snow-Song is a northern huntress living in Thirsk. She survived the Mead Hall massacre in the newly released Udyrfrykte, was released from its lair after the appearance of "Fire in the Lake", and then became a housekeeper of sorts... for Nerevarine. It's revealed in Oblivion that she married the steadfast Agnar and began suffering from nightmares... so they both set out to kill the Matron's beast.
Unfortunately, she was consumed whole and her horrific remains could be recovered from the belly of the beast that consumed her. Now she and her husband have found peace and victory in Thirsk, and her former comrades in Thirsk are reunited.
- AGNAR THE UNWAVERING *
Agnar the Unwavering is a Nord who is the next major character after Nerevarine disappears, possibly on a trip to Akavir. He married Svenja and later accompanied her to defeat the Mistress of nearly every beast slaughtered in Thirsk's Honey Hall. He was killed by the beast that killed his beloved, and his body was later discovered by the Champions of Cyrodiil. He is now reorganized with Svenja in Sovngarde.
- HROTHMUND THE RED *
Hrothmund the Red was the first leader of Thirsk, known for his trusty axe. The wolf devoured by Ondage was later killed by Nosk of Noth. He now boasts of his deeds forever in Sovngarde.
*ANDRELHEIM AND ULFRUN*
Andrehelm and Urslen were members of Thirsk and were killed by Udyrfrykte. They did what they do best in Sovngarde... drank a lot of mead.
- SKJOLDR WOLF RUNNER *
Skjoldr Wolf Runner, chief of Thirsk before Nerevarine, was later killed by Udyrfrykte. He was now drinking mead with his Thirsk comrades.
third trip in the past
Added past Chieftain of Thirsk to Thorngard. As stated in the Revised History of Thirsk (

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
