About this mod Machine translation
New Chapter is a subtle mod that will replace vanilla's clunky new game sounds and new target sounds with "booky" ones.
I never liked the sound of the vanilla new game "YUH". Sure, it's epic and Nordic, but it's not the game I want. I wanted it to be more like fantasy.
Every time I clicked on "New Game" I wanted to prepare myself for an exciting adventure, and the sound always felt weird and didn't fit in with what I was thinking.
Now you should feel like you are choosing a book with a new story in a famous world. Will your story be tragic, heroic, or humorous and pointless? That's okay, as long as you keep yelling "YUH" to everyone who writes/reads it.
This is especially useful for those who can't stop restarting the game. My friends, this shouting should not bother you anymore.
In the last update I added New-Objective sounds that feel like you are writing in a diary.
You can listen to the sound here:

Now it should feel like you're oppening a book with a new story in a well-known world. Will your story be tragic, heroic, or humourous and meaningless? It doesn't matter, as long as you keep shouting "YUH" at everyone writing/reading it.
This would be aspecially useful for those, who just can't stop starting game all over again. This shout shouldn't bother you anymore, my friends.
In the last update I added New-Objective sounds so it feels like you're writing in a journal.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
