SOT Combat Additive - SOT Team Mini Mod or Utility - Dependent (WIP)
When SKSEVR is out, it will eventually be in Skyrim VR. It will be, it's in alpha testing. Not tested yet, but work in progress. Can't wait. Anyway, this mod shows the damage done to enemies using notifications. It was for Skyrim VR and then I discovered that Skyrim VR has no notifications! Additionally, the mod adds new sword sounds

greeting.
This mod really works on Skyrim Vr but doesn't work there. We really need skse to make meaningful combat changes in VR.
This mod will eventually make its way to Skyrim VR when SKSEVR is out. And SKSEVR will be a thing, it's in alpha testing. It's ongoing. Can't wait.
Anyway, this mod uses standard scrolling notifications to display damage done to enemies. Skyrim VR needs functionality, then I found that Skyrim VR has no notifications! never assume
Additionally, the mod adds 10 new sword strike sounds when the player hits an enemy with the sword. Which of the 10 dramas is random.
It's a work in progress because more sounds(?) are needed for boxing, maces, axes, etc. We will see. Sword sounds can also be used for ax strikes. Another improvement would be if the striking leather or glass armor added different percussive sounds.
This mod can be used to play Skyrim in a more tactical way by getting feedback on attack effects or as a troubleshooting tool for NPCs, combat, weapons, spells, and more.
There's a nice model in that shows damage floating over enemies. Use skse plugin. This is a great option, it all depends on what you want. Notifications of my fall were more immersive, and they were gone. The floating damage model can be found here:

WORK IN PROGRESS
Greetings.
This mod was really for Skyrim Vr but cannot be used there yet. We really need skse to make meaningful combat changes in VR.
This mod will eventually make its way to Skyrim VR when SKSEVR is out. And SKSEVR will be a thing, it is in alpha testing. It is being worked on. Can't wait.
Anyhow, this mod displays damage done to enemies using standard scrolling notifications. Feature is needed for Skyrim Vr and then I discovered that Skyrim VR has no notifications!!! Never assume.
Also, the mod adds 10 new sword hit sounds that play when the player strikes an enemy with a sword. Which of the 10 plays is random.
Its a work in progress, as more sounds are needed(?) for punches, mace, axe hits, etc. We will see. The sword sounds can be used for axe hits as well. Another improvement is to add different strike sounds if striking leather, or glass armor.
The mod can be used to play Skyrim in a more tactical way by getting feedback on effectiveness of attacks or as a trouble shooting tool to balance npcs, battles, weapons, spells etc.
There is a fine mod that displays damage floating above the enemy. Uses a skse plugin. It s a great alternative, all depends on what you want. The notifications I fell are more immersive ans they are out of the way. The floating damage mod can be found here:
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
