About this mod Machine translation

A mod that fills the very empty settlement of Solstheim. A port of the LE mod with the same name.

detail

This is a port of the wonderful "Popular Solstheim" (with permission from original author reindeer51), with the addition of more NPCs in Raven Rock. Here are the details directly from the original mod page:

"Bethesda is known for making small, sparsely populated towns, which created a need for a population model. However, the Dragonborn DLC seems to have gone unnoticed, so this is a first.

Populated Solstheim Added new NPCs to the land of Solsthem, especially in the mining town which I think is in great need of Raven Rock... It is said that the Nords abandoned Raven Rock because of the large number of Dunmers migrating there. However, when you walk into the actual place, it looks more like an eerie ghost town. Well, not anymore!

With this mod you will add around 20 new NPCs to Raven Rock. I want them to be as inconspicuous as possible, but also integrate well into the places they are. These aren't just copied NPCs, either. Each one has its own unique look and characteristics, although they're also set up to be equally generic. Since they are irrelevant, most people won't talk to you. Homeless refugees will crowd the edges, residents will stroll and browse the wares in the shops, workers will work on the mines, all minding their own business. "

Install

Install via your favorite module manager, or manually place the files in the "data" directory.

DETAILS

This is the port of the wonderful 'Populated Solstheim' (on the permission of the original author reindeer51) that adds more npcs into Raven Rock. Here is the details straight from the original mod page:

"Bethesda is well-known for their proud tradition of making small sparasely populated cites/towns which prompted the need for population mods. None seems to have been made for the Dragonborn DLC however, so here's the first.

Populated Solstheim adds new NPCs to the land of Solsthem, specifically the mining town of Raven Rock where I think it's sorely needed... It's said the Nords relinquished Raven Rock because of the large masses of Dunmers that migrated there. Yet when you step into the actual place, it looks more like a freakin' ghost town. Well, not anymore!

With this mod, you get about 20 new NPCs added into Raven Rock. I intend for them to be as inconsequential as possible but also integrate nicely into where they are. These aren't like just copied NPCs either. Each one has their own unique appearance and traits though they're also set to be as just as generic. Because of how inconsequential they are, most of them won't be bothered talking to you. Homeless refugees will huddle around the edges, Inhabitants will wander and browse the wares in shops, workers will work the mines, all of them minding their own business."

Fallout 4 mods:

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
