About this mod Machine translation
The horse will now trot instead of canter when ridden at normal speed.
I noticed that sometimes my horse would run when he was fighting - so I went looking for that set of animations. I then used them in place of the "run" animation to make the horse trot instead of running straight from the road to the canter. It makes the movement while standing more realistic as the horse has to pick up speed and keep his legs in line! The player rides like a sack of potatoes, but there's nothing I can do about it!
This is just a simple animation replacer caused by something I found in the game, so all credit goes to Bethesda for making the animation files. I can't get the animation out of the paper bag! :)
This does not affect horse speed in either the base game or the mod.
Please do not upload this file anywhere else.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
