About this mod Machine translation
Animals and creatures become more dangerous and challenging. Perfect for role-playing, immersion and survival.
You go out for a hike in the woods. Suddenly, you hear howling. It's a wolf pack...and they found you! Now you have to act fast if you want to survive!
If you ever encounter a pack of wolves in the forest, your first thought is never, "Ah, an easy fight and some free fur." A wolf pack is supposed to be something that is actually dangerous. With that said, installing Skywild certainly doesn't make the game unplayable - just more challenging and dangerous.
This mod is essentially Skywild II with many improved features and overall cleaner performance and compatibility compared to the previous version.
The status of most wildlife will be increased to a point where encounters will be more or less dangerous for any player, regardless of level. In real life, no matter how skilled a hunter you are, you wouldn't hunt bears and elk with a sword or an ax, so there's no point in you doing that in Skyrim either. While wild animals aren't smart, they still lack strategy, so it's not really hard to keep them around as long as you treat them carefully. Beyond that, any large animal that could realistically knock down a human probably would. Conversely, you may not be able to knock down many of them.
As a rule of thumb, most animals are healthy for their body weight (or often more). You can also count on carnivores to have less health, due to more attack damage, and herbivores to have more health, due to less attack damage.
Wolves
If you are walking in the woods, this is a common animal that you need to pay attention to. Their health levels are relatively small compared to some other animals, and experienced hunters should be able to defeat them easily. Additionally, Skyrim's large domestic dogs share most of their physical characteristics with their wild counterparts, except for a fear of fire.
Bear
Bears grow from small to large, and the larger the species, the more powerful and dangerous they become. Big Bears have a massive health pool, as well as the ability to knock down opponents when their hind legs are raised. A bear is a powerful creature for any human being, and a confrontation with a bear can be dangerous. It's worth remembering that bears are very defensive and won't attack unless someone gets too close after being warned. If a bear is charging, fire may be what you need to scare them away.
saber cat
Giant cat carnivore and the apex predator of Skyrim's animal kingdom; the Saber Cat is not one to be scoffed at. They will stalk their prey quietly until they charge for the kill. With high speed, the ability to knock down anyone they leap, and massive attack damage, this large predator is one of the most dangerous creatures to watch out for when exploring the wilds of Skyrim. Hunting them can be a challenging and exciting experience for anyone brave enough to try. Their inherent fear of fire can also be used against them.
Piranha
With their razor-sharp teeth, Slaughter will cause great damage to anyone they encounter in the water. This is a good reason why the waters of Skyrim are dangerous.
moose
With its massive size, defensive temperament, and strong statistics, the Elk is a smaller and weaker alternative to the Mammoth. Elk are large and strong animals. Encountering and provoking an elk in the woods can be really dangerous - a person who refuses to heed their warnings may quickly find themselves crushed under their hooves.
Horkers
With a big body and some thick leather, a horker isn't easy to kill. However, despite their slowness, they're not really a threat unless you're stupid enough to provoke them up close. Or in the water.
mammoth
The elephants of the tundra, mammoths remain calm as long as they are not provoked. With a massive health pool, massive attack damage, and the ability to knock down and stomp most things that try to harm them, mammoths are by far the most powerful creatures in Skyrim. …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
