This mode adds a working bathtub to the gameplay. With a washbasin, you can wash the effects of the potion into your clothes, or make your clothes stand out.

SKYWATER_washtub adds a working washtub to the game. Using a washtub, you can apply the potion's effects to your clothes and/or dissolve them into your clothes.

how it works

Make a wash tub kit at the Forge Forge Tool, simply place the kit wherever you want to build an empty wash tub. Now get some water into the player's inventory (minimum 18 liters). Fill the wash tub with water and you're ready.

The wash tub operates like a container. Open it and place a piece of clothing into the tub along with the potion. Closing the tub will start washing. After washing, the washed clothes will be moved to the player's inventory.

Laundered clothes will be enchanted with the effects of the potion. These washed enchantments are temporary. They disappear between 18 and 36 game times. In order to renew the enchantment, you must wash the clothes again.

You can learn a washed enchantment and use it like any other enchantment on the enchantment table. The washtub will do its charming job, and most potions provide positive effects. Poison can be used for decomposition.

For strengthening charm potions and invisibility potions, the mod provides new enchantments. Also included is a simple laundry detergent recipe that provides beautiful laundry results. The dishwashing basin needs to be filled with water from time to time. A laundry tub with water will be considered the water source for all Skywater modifications.

Compatibility and requirements

This mod does not change any game assets. So, there should be no conflicts or incompatibilities!

SKYWATER_washtub is designed for SkyrimSE and requires SKSE and SKYWATER_survival.

SKYWATER_washtub is a lightweight master file (.esl) so it does not count towards the plugin limit. Place it after SKYWATER_survival and before any esp in the plugin list.

SKYWATER_washtub

How it works

Craft a Wash Tub Kit at the smithing forge and simply drop the kit wherever you want to build an empty Wash Tub. Now get some water into the player inventory (min 18 l). Fill the Wash Tub with water and you are ready to go.

The Wash Tub is operated like a container. Open it to place a piece of clothing together with a potion into the tub. Closing the tub will start the washing. When the washing is finished the washed clothes will be removed to the player inventory.

The washed clothes will adopt the effect of the potion as enchantment. These washed-in enchantments are temporary. They disappear within 18 to 36 game time hours. To renew the enchantment you have to wash the clothes again.

You can learn a washed-in enchantment and use it like any other enchantment at the enchanting table. The Wash Tub will do its enchanting job with most of the potions providing a positive effect. Poison can be used for disenchanting.

For the fortify enchanting potions and the invisibility potions the mod provides new enchantments. A cooking recipe for a simple Wash Solution providing a nice washed clothes effect is also included. From timeto time the Wash Tub needs to be refilled with water. A Wash Tub with water will be recognized as water source for all Skywater mods.
