About this mod Machine translation
Requires SkyUI version 5.2. Mainly intended for use with other modules that add more map markers, resulting in an overcrowded map. Available in two sizes - 50% or 75% of the original icon size. I created this mod inspired by Atlas Map Markers SE, and all the screenshots you see here were created with it enabled.
I can't find any SkyUI compatible mods that resize map markers, which is basically necessary to use mods that add a lot of markers. As a result, I decided to create one myself.
Require
-SKSE64 2.0.4 or higher
-SkyUI 5.2 or higher
Mod used in screenshots
-Atlas Map Markers SE-Updated MCM
-SSE’s Paper World Map
- Natural color map markers 4K VR and SSE
Install
Safe to install or remove at any time during playback (nothing saved to the save will be changed). Only one version can be installed at a time, but you can choose to change the size at any time.
You can install using a mod organizer of your choice (such as MO2 or Vortex), or you can install the file manually by placing the "map.swf" file in:
[SkyrimSE installation path]/data/interface/
To uninstall, just delete the file.
compatibility
This mod is not compatible with mods that edit "Data/Interface/map.swf", but should be compatible with any other mods such as mods that add map icons or change their color or style. Since it is created using the original SkyUI mapping files, all SkyUI mapping functionality (such as search) will remain functional after installation.
technical details
This mod was created by decompiling the "map.swf" file found in SkyUI 5.2 BSA, finding this script, and then reducing the "MARKER_BASE_SIZE" variable within it to 50% and 75% of its starting value.

Do whatever you want with this mod, no credits required. The only place I've uploaded it is here, so if you want to upload it elsewhere or bundle it with your own mod, feel free to do so.
credit
This mod was created by changing the "map.swf" file bundled with the amazing SkyUI, and was only possible through the hard work of SkyUI's creators.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
