Introduction
Skill improvement based on your young life
Ever wonder what a Dragonborn did before becoming a Dragonborn? What is his/her background? His/her origin? What kind of life did he/she live before becoming a legendary sound maestro? Well...this mod doesn't answer...exactly.
This is just a simple mode that prompts you with a question at the beginning of the game, providing a one-time skill boost based on your answer. For example, if your character was a blacksmith before arriving in Skyrim, you would receive a +10 bonus to blacksmithing.
Why? I play mods (including my own) that set starting skills below base 15. I'm not going to use it with vanilla, but do it with Overhaul. But I also think it doesn't make any sense to start directly with 0/1/5/10 (your character did have life before Skyrim, right).
This mod is also part of a larger mod I'm working on (a new version of Grace for those familiar with it).
SkyRem
What is SkyRem? My [limited] modding focus is on creating role-playing based mods. SkyRem (Skyrim Roleplaying Enhancement Mod) will be a collection of these mods designed to work together. Leo (Loot and Economy Overhaul) and Grace (Gender Race Attribute Class Enhancement) are two that will eventually be part of it. I've decided to provide more modularity for those who might prefer parts of said mod rather than all parts.
compatibility
This mod will run a short script after closing the character creation menu. Once you answer the question, the script stops and provides the reward. That's right.
Sibyyl should be 100% compatible with any other mod. Of course, if you find anything else, please let me know.
My Mods
SkyGrace - Full: Gender, race and class enhancements with attributes and traits.
SkyGrace - Lite: A lighter version of SkyGrace - without attributes and features.
SkyLeo: Loot and economy overhaul.
SkyRem - Sibyyl: Skill improvement based on your young life.

Skill Increase Based on Your Young Life
Ever wonder what the Dragonborn did before becoming the Dragonborn? What is his/her background? His/her origin? What type of life did he/she live prior to becoming a legendary master of the voice? Well.... this mod doesn't answer that... exactly.

Why? I play with mods (including my own) that set starting skills lower than the base 15. I did not intend for this to be used with vanilla, but rather with overhauls that do this. But I also feel a straight 0/1/5/10 start across the board did not make sense either (your character did have a life prior to Skyrim, right).
This mod is part of a larger mod that I am working on as well (a new version of Grace for those that are familiar with it).
SkyRem
What is SkyRem? My [limited] modding focus is on creating mods that build on roleplaying. SkyRem (Skyrim Roleplaying Enhancment Mod) is/will be a collection of such mods intended to work together. Leo (Loot and Economy Overhaul) and Grace (Gender Race Attribute Class Enhancements) are two that will eventually be part of this. I have decided to make these more modular for those that might like parts, but not all, of said mods.

This mod runs a short script as soon as you close the character creation menu. Once you answer the question, the script stops and provides a bonus. That is it.
Sibyyl should be 100% compatible with any other mod. Of course if you find out otherwise, please let me know.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
