Added a large collection of collectible cards to Skyrim Insanity-based card assets
All curious lore lovers, treasure hunters and collectors: hold on!
This mod adds collectible cards to Skyrim.
These cards can be found on enemies, chests, merchant inventories, book sellers, and in places where books usually spawn.
Current number of cards (3.0): 247
The main goal of this card is to teach players general knowledge about the lore of The Elder Scrolls universe in a fun and "dynamic" way. Each card you find has a picture, an image that references and describes it.
These cards come in several flavors:
SKYRIM - These cards are black. They're all about things you can find, see, talk to, or kill in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
DAWNGUARD - These cards are red. They depict something you might have seen in The Elder Scrolls V: Dawnguard DLC.
DRAGONBORN - blue card. About The Elder Scrolls V: Dragonborn DLC content.
Tendency - As the title suggests, these brown cards will take you down nostalgia lane and teach you a few things about The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion and all its minor add-ons.
SHIVERING ISLES - The orange and purple card depicts something you might see in an Oblivion attachment: Shivering Islands.
MORROWIND - Not nostalgic enough? These yellow cards include content from The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind and all of its add-on content.
Legacy - These white cards with black font relate to general lore of the Elder Scrolls universe. Gods, races, continents, all of it!
META - A mysterious (very rare) green card that grants knowledge about things beyond the Elder Scrolls universe. Very Easter.
- Brown cards depict the great heroes and legends of Tamriel. (Used to portray great characters from the Elder Scrolls community, maybe even your character).
Children - Kindly Donate These cards represent the children of Skyrim and Solsheim as they appear in children's programs.
Bucky The Bucket Booster Pack - Donated by TheFurCrew, these cards are all about the beautiful buckets found above Skyrim.
Among these cards, you may find the elusive RARE card. These magical items will give you bonus points when you see certain skills.
Plus, you'll get the usual Reading Card rewards! In fact, for every new card you see, you'll gain a level of "Card Collector Perk," giving you faster skill learning (starting at 5% when loading 5 cards). So if you see a card you haven't seen yet, be sure to do it to get a nice bonus!
Want to participate in the expansion of this mod? You can! Take a screenshot of...well, almost everything and send it to me!
It can even become your character! Just a little quote explaining his/her backstory and I'll turn it into a card ;)!

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
