Doesn't Skyrim have custom animations? Not FNIS behavior allows adding different types of animations in the game: idle/pose, sequence, furniture, pairing, kill action, creature and others.
Doesn't Skyrim have custom animations? Disabling FNIS behavior allows other mods to add different types of animations to the game. : Void/Position, Sequence, Arm Offset, Furniture, Pairing Animation, Killing Action, Creature Animation.
Also, FNIS Spell users have a way to display almost any animation file in demo mode. Includes dance animation.
NOTE: You will have to run a generator tool. GenerateFNISforUsers.exe (part of FNIS behavior) every time FNIS or a FNIS-based module is installed or uninstalled. Additionally, when you uninstall a mod that uses fnis creature models, first press the "deinstall creatures" button before running "Update fnis behavior".

FNIS Behavior SE 7.4.5
· Fixed a bug where irrelevant folders and files were deleted when the user used "File Redirection" and (incorrectly) pointed the "RedirectFiles" parameter to a folder with other user data.
· GenerateFNISModders: Fixed a bug that generated incorrect "transform" parameters for basic animations and sequential animations. The consequences are unknown. When a looping animation is inserted into a FNIS basic or sequential animation, it may occasionally cause glitches.
· Skyrim VR: Fixed unreasonable installation warnings caused by incorrect registry checks.
NOTE: It is highly recommended to update to FNIS SE 7.4.5 as follows:
· Users using "File Redirection" (in case you make a mistake)
· MODS that provide basic or sequential FNIS custom animations (to regenerate "FNIS__Behavior.hkx")
NOTE: Optional FNISSE7.4.5XXLBeta (20,000 animations) will run slower on PCs with less memory.
It's also likely that using mods with over 10,000 animations will increase the load on the CTD to a similar degree. How much? I don't know to use at my own risk.

Install and execute
Note: In general, it is strongly recommended that you do not install any Steam, Skyrim, FNIS in folders protected by Windows UAC (User Account Control). These are "C:/ProgramFiles(X86)" or "C:/ProgramFiles" (or their localized correspondents, e.g. "C:/Program(X86)"). Use a root folder such as "D:\Games". This avoids serious protection issues, especially when using a mod manager.
FNIS is a tool, not a module, so it's different from most things you'll find on FNIS. If you are new to modulating and using FNIS, it is highly recommended that you watch one of the many videos explaining using FNIS. Like this video at the beginning and end of the description.
· Install FNIS Behavior SE V7_4_5
· Install creature packaging V7_0 (optional, required for creature animation MODS)
· Install FNIS Idle Spells SE V5_0_1 (optional, required spells)
· Activate FNIS plug-in (FNIS.esp)
· Install other MODS that FNIS depends on (see MOD list below)
·
· If you installed manually: Go to the Skyrim installation directory (e.g. D:/Games/Steam/Normal/Skyrim Special Edition) and from there go to Data/Tools/GenerateFNIS_for_USERS
· If you install manually start the FNIS generator GenerateFNISforUsers.exe as administrator (FNIS acts as part of SE and is absolutely necessary, otherwise nothing will work)
·
· If you use NMM: Install FNIS like any other module
· If you are using NMM and …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
