corner of the sky

Skyrim was originally created and uploaded by alaken in 2013 and has not seen updates or ports to SE so far. My job is simply to seek to bring CoS to SE and make fixes or improvements if needed for others to enjoy the nostalgic and enjoyable mod I find.

Corners of Skyrim fills the land of Skyrim with many small buildings and ruins that you can hide in and even go back to during your adventure. Structures include crafting tables, beds, fireplaces, and safe storage cabinets, depending on the structure. Each one is unique. Each structure also comes with an individual residing within it, each of whom is protected, has a retinue ready, is marryable, and is unique in fighting style, race, and appearance.

Location

Plainwatch - Hunter's retreat, standing between Riverwood and Whiterun, overlooking both sites with stunning rooftop views; home of the Breton Hunter, known as Nanna

Ghost Hearth - A small open-air hut where magic is housed near Falkreath; home of the Redguard witch (Minerva).

Raisegrave Hillock - An open-air structure with additional slopes on the northern part of Whiterun Plain. The home of the Necromancer, known as Magnus Tacitus

Twinsrest - Beach house with a craftsman feel in the shadow of Solitude; home of the Northern Berserker called Snar The Stout Twin

Thaw Forge - Thaw Forge, interior west of Windhelm; home of the orc warriors known as Bul gra-Shura

The ruins of the Ale N'Tale Inn - an abandoned and dilapidated inn that is now open to the elements beneath a large waterfall drained from the Whiterun River; Home of the Khajiit Fighters - Hanushi

Grayfall - open-air riverside house on stilts on the river south of Wyndhem. The location of the Argonian spell known as Knows-Sky-Height

Corners of Skyrim

Corners of Skyrim was originally created and uploaded by alaken in 2013 and has yet to see a update or port to SE until now. My work only seeks to bring over CoS to SE and fix or improve things where needed for others to enjoy a mod I find nostalgic and enjoyable.

Corners of Skyrim fills out the land of Skyrim with multiple small structures and ruins for you to take shelter in or even call home during your adventures. Included with the structures are crafting benches, beds, fireplaces and safe storage depending on which structure it is; each are unique. Each structure also comes with a individual living there with each being protected, follower ready, marriageable, unique in fighting style, race and appearance.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
