About this mod Machine translation

This mod changes refugee resting using Fort Takeovers. After clearing the rest of the refugees, the correct civil war faction will take over the tower and protect the new residents. Just as it should be.

After slaughtering the two creatures living in the Forgotten Tower, the correct CW faction will now take over the Tower, protecting the new residents of Regugees Rest. The soldiers are from Eastmarch, but their allegiance depends on the existing bearer.

This addon allows multiple citizens and a guard to protect and keep an eye on them. There is also a new refugee camp next to the tower. My goal was to make realistic changes to the tower that showed the trouble Morrowind was causing.

Thanks Kuczaja for the suggestion!

Knowledge

After many Dark Elves moved to Skyrim, not all found their place in Windhelm or other cities. Some have left Skyrim's wastelands in search of a home. Once they returned to the refugees to rest, they decided a better place was nowhere to be found, so they set up their camp and prayed for a better future..

The Jarl of Windhelm noticed the illegal camp but decided to leave them, but not without noticing.

Authors please note

I'm trying to make lightweight changes to the fort and these places to become more immersive using the Fort Takeovers mod.

As of right now I'm not really working on an overhaul, but once I get a lot done I might start making a full version. The current version will become the Lite version.

If you have any suggestions for revamping the location, or changes to the current location, please contact me and I'd love to hear it.

Doesn't mean I'm going to do it, but you know, we'll see.

Lore

After many dark elfs moved to Skyrim, not all could find their place in Windhelm or the other cities. Some were left walking the wildlands of Skyrim looking for a home. Once they returned to Refugees Rest, they decided a better place for their kind was nowhere to be found, so they built their camp, praying for a better future..

The Jarl of Windhelm noticed this illegal encampment, but decided to leave them be, but not without keeping an eye out.

Note from the author

I'm trying to make lightweight changes to forts and such places to become more immersive using the Fort Takeovers mod.

As of now I am not really making overhauls, but once I have done quite a few, I might start making Full version. The current versions would become Lite versions.

If you have any suggestions for locations to makeover, or changes to the current locations, please contact me, I am eager to listen.

Doesn't mean I will do it but you know, we'll see.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
