About this mod Machine translation
This mod makes changes to Valtheim Towers using Fort Takeovers. After clearing Waldheim Tower, the correct Civil War faction will take over the fortress. Just as it should be.
After completely clearing a Valtheim tower, the correct CW faction will now take over the tower instead of letting monsters take over again. This soldier hails from Whiterun, but their loyalty depends on the current bearer. Commanders are Stormcloak or Imperial commanders.
This addon places multiple guards, a commander and objects around the tower and removes most monster related objects which in my opinion will be deleted by the new owner. My goal is to make realistic and accessible changes. The changes are subtle but noticeable, so there's little performance penalty.
Knowledge
After clearing the Valtheim Tower, Jarl of Whiterun noticed the importance of the two towers. To make his position in the war stronger, he ordered his men to open a checkpoint. The Imperial Army and the Stormcloaks are also interested in the towers and have sent one of their own commanders to keep an eye on the checkpoint.
do it
Open border guards and close gates in the evening and morning. There is also an option to install locking gates (no checkpoints passed at night).
I had everything ready, but the border guard was just looking for a path, so I had to hold his hand and teach him myself.
Authors please note
I'm trying to make lightweight changes to the fort and these places to become more immersive using the Fort Takeovers mod.
As of right now I'm not really working on an overhaul, but once I get a lot done I might start making a full version. The current version will become the Lite version.
If you have any suggestions for revamping the location, or changes to the current location, please contact me and I'd love to hear it.
Doesn't mean I'm going to do it, but you know, we'll see.
This model requires Apocrypher00's Fort Takeover

After fully clearing Valtheim Towers, the correct CW faction will now take over the towers, instead of letting monsters take over again. The soldier are from Whiterun hold, but their allegiance depends on the current owner of the hold. The commander is a Stormcloak or Imperial commander.
This plugin places multiple guards, a commander and objects around the towers and removes most monster related objects, which in my opinion the new owners would remove. My goal was to make realistic and convenient changes. The changes are subtle, but noticeable, so there is little to no performance loss.

To Do
Make the border guard open and close the gate at night and in the morning. Also have the option to install with locked gate (no passing the checkpoint at night).
I've got everything set, but the border guard just sucks at pathfinding, so I'll have to hold his hand and teach him myself.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
