To install download forward 3.11 or whatever the current version is when you download it on the ReShade official webpage and then install it in your game folder (when you open the ReShade settings you will be asked to select the game so select SkyrimSE.exe from the game folder and select Direct3D 10+ then it will download the shaders and all the content will be placed in that game folder. Then download the rar from the Files section of that page and copy and replace the content with Same game folder. When you start the game, press Shift + F2 to open the ReShade menu and select the "immersive_and_detailed_skyrim.ini" preset.
If you want to remove the border, you can use Numpad0 to toggle it.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
