Rest point
When you fall asleep, you will gain a "rest point" once per day (unless the player is a werewolf or the player has the "Lovers Stone" effect).
By default, XP gain is doubled when you have a rest point.
By default, sleep generates 1000 rest points for every hour you sleep.

Customize UIExtensions menu
If you want to set "XP Point" to a certain value: open the console with ~ and type set xppoint as (desired number)
If you want to set "Rest Point" to a certain value: open the console with ~ and type set restpoint as (the number you want)

Give XP from your mod
(Requires SKSE 1.7.3+)
If you want to give the player XP after some weird dancing!
Just add 1 line to your script:
SendModEvent("SXP", "It's so fun to dance!", 100)
It will give the Player 100 XP with the "Dancing is so fun! 100 XP" notification and you don't need to set SXP as the main file.
If you want XP to be silent, just set the second parameter to "", which is the empty string.
SXP now supports nested translations.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
