describe
Skyrim Character Developer is a roleplaying-oriented character sheet utility, formatted in dynamic LibreOffice Calc spreadsheet files, allowing you to plan and create clear and unique profiles for your characters' personalities, motivations, social identities and backgrounds. It is not a game mode, but a resource for recording personally identifiable information about characters in role-playing games.
Many of the ideas, concepts, and terminology used in this spreadsheet are drawn from many online resources that I compiled into a convenient analysis system. This can be used for in-game or out-of-game character development. Whether you run a YouTube roleplay series or are involved in any other form of roleplay or fan fiction, you should be able to find this character sheet to build a clear idea of who you want your character to be/want and how you want to roleplay them!
The layout and sequence of the sections reflect an approach designed to develop a good overall sense of the character. Broad properties like prototype, class, and escape are placed at the top of the table instead of character names, age, gender, appearance, etc. This is influenced by the fact that most of the time I come up with an idea for a character before I get a name and other details, and I often come up with these general ideas. While you can fill it out any way you want, this demo sequence is designed to encourage you to develop your character in this way.
New 0.8.5!
PROFILE SHEET TAB: Added an organized character profile display tab that automatically populates information as you build your character, including a character portrait area for adding your own image. Great for exporting as an image or pdf to share with others!

Known issues
As of the latest version, I can't think of any, but if you come across any, feel free to share it in the posts section.
IF USING MICROSOFT EXCEL: According to most reviews from those who have tried it, this spreadsheet should work with Microsoft Excel since you are using the latest version. I don't own Excel myself, so if you encounter a bug, please feel free to report it on the post page so others can help.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
