About this mod Machine translation

This is a simple port of SE to LE for a mod I really like! This mod adds Dwemer Jukeboxes and Radios to Tamriel!

The original description appearing below is from the LE mod. I asked for permission to transplant but got no reply after 3 months. The author was last active in February 2018.

There is a plugin that adds Skyrim related commercials that may be compatible, but I haven't tested it yet. Here is the link:

All credits go to the original authors. I didn't do anything except load it into the updated Skyrim SE Creation Kit and resave. Everything seems to work for me, but your mileage may vary. All copyrights belong to their original owners. The content may be obscene or unsuitable for general use. Use at your own risk.

Customize your Skyrim sound

The Wizards of Winterhold are finally complete! After years of tinkering with strange Dwemer devices of unknown origin, they've managed to tune in to a magical frequency! But what is it? The device seems to be broadcasting a strange magical signal being broadcast...

They don't know who is casting the magic, but whoever it is seems to be playing music through Magicka! And the Dwemer device seems to receive on these frequencies! This breakthrough is astounding! The Academy has been selling radios that they work on to potential merchants ever since! Radio has spread throughout Tamriel!

Get your treasure!

Buy them! Steal them! Find their ruins! Dwemer Jukeboxes are colorful! Get a variety of radios in a variety of ways!

There is currently a Jukebox in each Dwemer Ruin, hidden in the hall, abandoned, waiting to be discovered!

They can also be purchased from general merchants! Belethor's, Bits and Pieces, you got it!

They can be stolen from homes lucky enough to have them!

Once you get the Dwemer Radio in Food!

You control the sound of Skyrim!

Import your own music and play it on demand! There are no tracks to play it! No more battle music drowning out beautiful environments!

Choose any music you want! classical! rock! d-d-d-dubstep! No one will judge you. Except Sheogorath, who can judge his will.

It's furniture too!

Your Dwemer radio is mechanical in nature! When placed in the world, the radio expands into a jukebox!

Don't like the exact location of Jukebox? Rotate it with the convenient placement menu!

You can set up your jukebox to play when you enter your home! Whatever your music choice, welcome home!

The future of mods!

I'm recording a real radio show for a mod. this will be

  • Make Lore Friendly (as friendly as possible) by using several voices from the game, editing into commercials, etc.
  • Track your game progress. Much like "radiated GNR", like: Never touch the Theives Guild? Radio hosts commented on how they struggled. Are you in the guild helping to rebuild it? He commented on this. Are you Guildmaster? He commented on this.

I'm a medical student, so I don't have time for anything. I finished the mod and started recording, but I want everyone to enjoy the custom music. I also realize that many people may skip that version and go for the no-broadcast version (I hate you). So I uploaded this first for peep enjoyment. When the show version is complete, it will be available for optional download.

I promise it will be worth downloading when completed. So when it's done download or I will hold the KITTENS HOSTAGE.

Like I said, there were thousands of sound files to sift through and extract ideas from. So why not use the in-game audio and voiceover mix to help out and submit your ideas for radio ads! Be as biased as possible in your suggestions, and if your ideas are used, you'll be documented when the work is done! Feel free to post your thoughts on my mod review page!

Update procedure.

The mod now uses .xwm files …

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
