Brief description

For a while now I've been wanting to try out some builds I found online but didn't want to go through the hassle of balancing them to see if they would compliment the endgame of my play style. So, I thought I would do something about it and instead of just keeping it to myself, I decided to share it with my family.

With this mod, you reset your character to level 1, with all skills defaulting to 15. You can then choose your racial stat bonuses, powers, and abilities; no matter what race your character actually is. Why play as an Argonian if you don't like looking like an awesome race just to get them? You can then set your personal skill level to whatever you wish. You may want to set them up to interesting builds you find online, or builds you want to try.

Install

If you are using mod manager, just click on the mod manager download link next to the main file.

Otherwise, unzip the file in the skyrim special edition directory.

compatibility

This mod's return perks and remove perks features are incompatible with any mod that alters vanilla perks (except ChessPirate's Bullseye Perk Paralyze Bug Fix). If popular demand requires me to handle compatibility with a specific mod, then I will do so.

This mod's skill level menu is incompatible with any mod that alters vanilla skills.

This mode's race selection is incompatible with any mode that changes race bonuses.

Known BUG

v0.1: Bug preventing priorities from being reset when reset priority and return point switching are activated. Corrected in v0.2.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
