About this mod Machine translation

Automatically add modified items from your specific mod's list to vanilla merchants and loot. Automatically rank items so they appear at different levels. The LE version is here:

Preface from old users:

Welcome to SkyAI V2

MikeyNexus previously ported my older version of this mod to work with LE and added some much needed scripting improvements.

I've ported his new ESP to SE. This means that the original SkyAI for SE will no longer work, so I uploaded it as a brand new mod.

I highly recommend people to use this newer version of SkyAI as it is more complete, but be aware that you will need to remove SkyAI V1.

(The reason is that the ESP form ID has been changed, which is unavoidable, but now that the SE and LE versions are in sync, there will be no problems in the future and any further updates can be applied without having to delete the old version).

This mod is impossible or extremely unlikely to be ported to Fallout 4.

This is because the FO4 has an optional attachment (OMOD) for leveling extremely complex items.

Welcome to SkyAI

What does it do?

It adds items from your specific MOD list and automatically distributes them to vanilla vendors (now also including LOOT lists).

It does this in a flat way, so weaker items will appear early in the game, with stronger weapons not appearing until much later.

This new V2 version of SkyAI handles the following project types and maximum project numbers:

*Armor - 2032 items

*Apparel - 1524 items

*Jewelry - 1016 items

*Weapons - 2032 items

*Ammunition - 508 items

*Spell Tomes - 1016 items

*Potions and Poisons - 1016 items

*Food - 1016 items

*Ingredients - 1016 items

This gives you a very friendly and balanced way to get all your favorite modification items in the same way. Gone are the days of using console commands, or browsing 6000 crafting recipes in the Steel category, or "just happened upon a hidden stash in Riverwood."

Instead, though, you can shop for your gear the old-fashioned way by going from store to store.

The mod will sell items in a reasonable fashion, the blacksmith will sell modded items and armor but generally won't store the bulk of spells, and the mage will sell the opposite.

Food and drink will be available from the inn, potions and ingredients sold by the alchemist, as well as general merchant clothing (and Radiant Raiment, of course!).

You get it.

Installation - Disclaimer

This mod uses xEdit to run a script that will automatically patch your game based on your current mod list.

It contains a simple menu to customize your patch so you can choose which mods to include as well as options to select the types of items to include.

It requires some initial setup, so I managed to wrangle it up with Michael from GamerPoets to get started with a complete installation video.

I've also added some step-by-step text instructions below the video for those who prefer to read.

The installation may seem a bit involved, but I assure you it's easy, myself and Michael are just very thorough people.

NOTE: This video was created for the original SkyAI. The installation remains the same, but some menus now have more options.

Michael is very thorough with his videos so it shouldn't be too difficult to get used to.

Installation - Required files

SkyAI uses a number of other programs and resources to work.

SSEEdit is always called xEdit.

MXPF - This is a library of Skyrim related functions that SkyAI will use.

Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch - This is necessary because my BASE esp will be using USLEEP for some logging.

SkyAI - includes ESP files and SCRIPT files.

You'll also obviously need some mods that add armor, weapons, spells or ingredients, etc... otherwise, why are you here?

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
