About this mod Machine translation

Automatically add modded items from your specific modding list to the vanilla merchant. Automatically rank items so they appear at different levels. Includes weapons, armor, ammunition, spell dome, alchemy and ingredients.

This mode is only applicable to the current stage of SE.

I'll be working on making a le-compatible version soon.

This mode will not be possible, or extremely unlikely, to be ported to Fallout 4.

This is because the FO4 has an optional accessory (OMOD) for converting

Leveling things is very complicated.

Welcome to SkyAI

SkyAI is a new model, designed for Special Edition.

What is it for?

It adds items from your specific mod list and distributes them to vanilla merchants automatically.

It does this in a flat fashion, so weaker items appear early in the game and more powerful weapons don't appear until much later.

At the time of publication, SkyAI currently handles the following project types:

*Armor

*arms

*Ammo

*spelled Tomes

*Alchemy and ingredients

This gives you a lore-friendly and balanced way to obtain all your favorite modded items in the same way.

Gone are the days of using console commands or browsing 6000 steel crafting recipes.

Or just "happen across a hidden cache in Riverwood."

No, instead you go from store to store and buy your gear the old-fashioned way.

Mods will sell items in a sensible way, blacksmiths will sell modded items and armor but generally won't store spells, and mages will sell the opposite.

Food and ingredients will be sold by the inn and the alchemist.

You know the idea.

Installation - Disclaimer

This mod uses XEdit to run a script that will automatically patch your game based on your current mod list.

It includes a simple menu to customize your patch so you can select the mods you wish to include as well as options.

To select the types of items to include, do the following.

It does require some initial setup, so I managed to solve the problem of Michael the Gamel poet doing it himself

Start completing the installation video.

I've also included some step-by-step text instructions below the video for those who prefer to read.

Installation may seem a bit involved, but I assure you it's easy and Michael and I are just very thorough people.

Installation - required files

SkyAI uses a number of other programs and resources to work.

SSEEdit - mentioned throughout xEdit.

MXPF - This is a library related to Skyrim that SkyAI will use for these functions.

Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch - This is necessary because my base in particular will be using some USSEP records.

SkyAI - includes a base file and a script file.

Obviously you'll also need some mods that add armor, weapons, spells, or ingredients. Otherwise, why are you here?

Installation - required files

  • Install xEdit by downloading the files from its mod page and extracting the contents to a location of your choice.

xEdit usually needs to be run as administrator, so it might help to right-click the exe and select "Always run as administrator" under the "Compatibility" tab.

  • Download MXPF, this is a file made for 32-bit Skyrim (Oldrim), but it also works on special versions.

Just unzip its contents to the same location where xEdit is installed. Make sure the Edit Scripts folder is merged with the same folder in the xEdit location.

  • Download USSEP and install using the MOD manager of your choice.
  • Download SkyAI_Script, just like you did with MXPF, and extract its contents to the xEdit location, making sure the "Edit Scripts" folders are merged together.
  • Download SkyAI_Base and install the mod manager of your choice.
  • You have now installed all the required files. Make sure SkyAI_base is enabled and move to the bottom of the load order.

Install-Run patch

Now we are talking about material taxes.

  • First run xEdit (as admin). A menu will appear showing all mods. By default, all currently enabled mods will be selected and remain as is. Make sure you enable SkyAI_Base.

NOTE: If you have run the patch b …

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
