About this mod Machine translation
Dash behaves the same way it did in old Skyrim. Stay instead of switching.
This mod is a complete rewrite and replacement of Classic Sprinting, as it was too complex to use, had many issues and was not very reliable. If you use this mod, please remove it before installing.
This mod will make sprinting work the same way it did in old Skyrim. What makes it different from other similar mods is that it will modify the code directly, so it no longer relies on external scripts. It also works with keyboards and controllers.
To install, simply drop the contents into Skyrim's Data folder, or use your Mod Manager. SKSE is required.
Recommended fully compatible mod: Sprint Jump SSE by aers.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
