Disappointed by the lack of shady crime housing in the game? Need a place to smuggle and/or consume a lot of skooma? Look no further!

Skooma Den adds a secret sewer complex beneath Whiterun's ciy, suitable as a player residence for all your outcast Khajits and/or online criminals. Designed to look and feel like a natural part of the game world. Ever wondered where all those watered-down skooma in games came from?

Now you know!

feature:

  • Skooma. Lots and lots of skooma.
  • Khajiit fence, unload all stolen items. Access is from the entrance closest to Whiterun at night (9pm to 3am). Progressive Thieves Guild adds usable gold to fences
  • Several safe lockers, bookshelves, alchemy table and cooking pot in the bedroom area
  • Added a smuggling route into/out of Whiterun City without having to go through the main gate
  • Did I mention Skooma? there are many
  • A free copy of The Lusty Argonian Maid for your bedtime reading pleasure
  • Full manual navigation and follower friendly

Skooma Den can be accessed from outside the city (east of Whiterun Stables) or from under the bridge within Whiterun (go under the bridge as soon as you enter the city).

If you're struggling to get into this place from the Whiterun entrance, try looking behind the barrel. It wouldn't make a very good secret lair if it were now entered by a regular door, would it?

  • From Skyrim LE.

There is now an Opencities version which includes immersive, custom voiced skooma addicts.

  • No bugs, no performance hits.. just seamless and sneaky.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
