Skill books no longer add skills when you read them. Simple concept.
The reason I'm not even willing to make this mod is that I sometimes want to play while keeping my level low... I also ended up using the "Unlimited Training and Slower Skill Usage Levels Per Level" mod to stop/slow leveling.
I personally would like merchant inventories and loot to remain low throughout the game. Always disliked that after beating up some mud crabs and getting multiple upgrades, a merchant suddenly starts selling ebony armor/weapons.....like wtf? ! ? !
Anyway, I'm using this model for RP. enjoy your meal!

The reason I even bothered making this mod is I sometimes like to do a play through while remaining at a very low level......I also end up using my 'Unlimited Training Per Level AND Slower Skill Usage Leveling' Mod to further stop/slow leveling.
I personally like the merchant inventory + loot to remain low level throughout the whole game....feels more true to Lore that way! Always disliked how after beating up some mudcrabs and getting several level ups, the Merchants suddenly start selling Ebony Armor/Weapons.....like wtf?!?!

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
