describe
From the original Skyrim Workshop page:
"You start this mode in Dragonsreach by traveling to the Court Wizard Farengar Secret Fire. Pick up letters and read the riddles. Each line/riddle is the location of a new artifact from Sithis. Solving the riddles and finding the artifacts will keep you busy for about half an hour or so, depending on how well you know Skyrim and whether you've been to the place before.
Items you will find include:
- Void Band
- Tablet of elements
- Tongue of the Sith
Some of the enchantments you can find on artifacts are:
- Shadow cloak
-Waterbreathing
-exile
I will add some items later, maybe a dungeon.
Recommended to be wanted. "
What I did was port it to SSE.
Install
MO2:
Once downloaded, double-click on the download tab to install. Click "Manual" and set "Data" to the data folder.
NMM:
Download and install. It couldn't be easier.
manual:
Open 'Artifacts of Sithis.7z', open 'Data' in the archive and drag 'Artifacts of sithis.esp' into the SSE Data folder, usually located in '.../Steam/steamapps/common/Skyrim Special Edition/data', the three dots represent the parent folder and/or driver you installed Steam to.
compatibility
This may interfere with other mods that edit Whientun's court mage Farengar in some way. I updated it to fit Update.esm because it only uses Skyrim.esm as its master, so the Farengar updates from Update.esm are the same in this .esp.
Of course, it may not be compatible with the region where the project is located. If you think you've found where this item is located and can't find it, please contact me and let me know if you have any mods that interfere with that specific area and I'll check them out.
I'm not up for adaptation, and I don't want to fight CK, so if I have to do anything CK related to fix it, forget it. Just immerse yourself with the items that come with the console.
Any issues that arise that you've determined are caused by this mod that xEdit fixes, I'd be willing to fix.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
