Forum request to make Sinding, a follower from the daedric quest Ill Met By Moonlight.
This one requires some tweaking to start working, so don't install this mod until you've finished the "PASSED MOONLIGHT" questions!
Now, the fine print. Sinding's voice type didn't allow him to be a follower, so I had to change it. Since I was also planning on having him get married, that just gave me one voice type to choose from. But it doesn't sound right, so I don't think that's a problem.
As a minion, I didn't shake his stats, so he's a one-handed fighter. However, he will level up with you. He starts out with just his rags, so be sure to give him some nice gear! My skills on the Creation Kit aren't amazing so I don't think he'll transform into a werewolf at will (I don't even know if that's possible), but in the recommended links section you can find some useful mods to get you out there.
For very fine prints, follow Sinding which is a copy of the original as I don't want to mess with any scripts or tasks. This may mean that when he is spoken to, he does not engage in conversation about his situation or tasks. I'm not worried about that much because his voice type doesn't allow him to follow you. The original Sinding and his werewolf form (they are individual entities in the game) have been placed in underground platforms to keep them out of sight, but don't be surprised to encounter Sinding on the road even if you have him following you! Yes, this means that if you choose to kill him, if you decide to install this mod for some reason, this follower version will still be there.
You can meet your new friends at Banehallow Cave, a small dwelling within the Bloated Man's Grotto. The cave is fully navigable, but the container is not safe!
Now, some links for you: The Werewolf minion should give you the option to make Sinding a werewolf. Amazing Follower Tweaks also offers this option. Regarding great looking armor, the Silver Hand Cloak would be a great choice for human form, while the Werewolf Lord would be stunning in beast form!
To install, place the files in the "SteamSteamAppsCommonSkyrimData" folder. Then tick the checkbox next to esp to activate the mod via your preferred launcher.
I completed an old save of Ill Met By Moonlight, which unfortunately is damaged beyond repair, and I haven't started booting it up in my new game yet, so I can't test this mod thoroughly. If you have any questions please let me know!

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
