About this mod Machine translation
Kitt and Sola, two simple pet foxes from Dragonsreach.
Just a port of an older (2012!) addon from the original Skyrim. enjoy!
Original non-SE version - Steam Workshop (1.14.0)
usage
Simply approach the Fox and talk to them and they will be recruited into your party.
If you already have an animal tracking, the animal wants to be fired.
Foxes either return to Dragonsreach when dismissed and can be recruited again at any time.
Other information
Like other vanilla minions, both foxes are available to players up to level 50.
Otherwise they have normal stats but are marked as necessary (outflow state at 0 health).
Kit, the red fox, is the bolder of the two tank dragon-like champions.
The Snow Fox's Sola is less aggressive, but has the normal frost resistance of the Snow Fox.
compatibility
Should be compatible with almost anything regardless of load order.
Should work with any multi-minor mode that supports vanilla animal fans.
Optional plug-ins
By default, the fox has an annoying idle breathing sound, but it can be silenced using this plugin:
To command two foxes at the same time (with chase/teleport capabilities), try MFSTL:
(TODO link below!)
(Note: Foxes cannot learn spells - I can't figure out how to define the animation to cast them!)
Uninstall steps
Just turn off any foxes in your party and delete the addon as normal.
(Optional) Use ReSaver (or similar) to remove any remaining references in the save:
Known issues
The animals' bleeding states are a little weird - they're just idle. However, they will eventually become active again like regular fans.
Very rarely, one or two foxes will not lay eggs inside Dragonsreach. I'm not currently sure why this is happening, but it can be fixed by saving and restarting the game, after which they will appear as expected.

Uninstall Steps
Simply dismiss any fox present in your party, then remove the plugin as normal.

Known Issues
The bleedout state on animals is a little weird - since they have no bleedout animations, they will appear to just sit there in an idle combat state. However, they will eventually become active again, like normal followers.
Very rarely, one or both foxes won't spawn inside Dragonsreach. I'm currently unsure why this happens, but it can be worked around by saving and restarting the game, after which they will appear as expected.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
