A simple, asset-free mod for Hjerim
My own adaptation of Hjerim. It stays close to the vanilla design with a few extra touches.
What I edited:
-Kitchen added oven and butter stirring
-better beds
- Added slave bed to the armory (purchased with the master bedroom)
- Add some rugs and furs to make the place warmer
-Added some storage bags to the lab (I didn't edit the vanilla shelves because that room is pretty unique)
compatibility:
Compatible with all other Hjerim overhauls. It does not interfere with the Blood on Ice quest or the acquisition of the House.
Tested and confirmed compatible with:
-Helin after the hot blood
-Blood on Redux
- Moon and Stars (it adds a spawn point to all vanilla houses, so it's not compatible with some overhauls, but works well with this)
-Hearth extension (it adds a brewing keg to the kitchen

My own tweaks to Hjerim. It stays close to the vanilla design, with a few extra touches.
What I edited:
- Oven and butter churn added to the kitchen
- Better bed for the housecarl
- A follower bed has been added to the armory (it's bought together with the main bedroom)
- A few more carpets and pelt to make the place a bit warmer
- Some storage sack added to the lab (I didn't edit the vanilla shelves since that room is, well, unique)
Compatibility:
Compatible with everything except other Hjerim overhauls. It does not interfere with the Blood on Ice quest or the acquisition of the house.
Tested and confirmed compatible with:
- Hjerim after Blood on Ice
- Blood on Ice Redux
- Moon and Star (it adds a spawn point to all vanilla houses so it's incompatible with some overhauls, but it works well with this)
- Hearthfire Extended (it adds a brewing barrel to the kitchen

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
