About this mod Machine translation
A simple overhaul of children, giving them unique faces, more variety of hair, and unique eye colors.
This is a simple revamp of children, giving them unique faces, new textures, more variety of hair, and unique eye colors, making them inline with adult NPCs. They use whatever hair, eyes and clothing you install.
Require
Tk Children - only three files required. Don't use esp or esm!
Without these deformations this would not be possible.
Install
- Download and install Tk Children. Remove or hide esp and esm. Advanced users: You can delete everything except *.tri files.
- Install simple child
- Install patches...
- Done!
Load order
Simple Children.esp is an esm and esl markup file. Anywhere after USSEP, it should be at the top of your load order.
FacegenForKids.esp is an esl-tagged esp that should be fairly low in your order to override any other edits to the children.
Patches are all esl tagged esps and can go anywhere after their respective mods except editing anything for vanilla children. Those should be below FacegenForKids.esp.
compatibility
Other mods that add new children are compatible. They will retain the vanilla children but get new skin textures from the mod. If you want me to add facegen and new hairstyles, please make a request under the Patch Requests Article.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
