My take on Breezehome - very close to the vanilla design, but with some minor tweaks.

My take on Breezehome - very close to the vanilla design, but with some minor tweaks.

I know there is no shortage of Breezehome mods, but I had to make my own. I designed this for personal use first, but why not share it with the community in case anyone likes it? So here it is - a vanilla house with some subtle modifications to bring it very close to Breezehome's original feel as a simple entry-level home.

What I edited:

  • All beds have been changed from "normal" to "upper" - still simple but no hay involved
  • The Alchemy bench was moved upstairs when you purchased the child's bed - it's such a fine handcrafted bench, why throw it away?
  • Added oven, butter churn and mead bucket from Hearthfire to the kitchen

-Added some containers

-Upstairs you will find a small cot so you can entertain guests without kicking out Lydia

All changes have been included in the vanilla upgrade, so you must purchase all cosmetics as normal.

Note: MOD has no assets. If the picture looks different than vanilla it's because I'm using other mods, which are Noble Skyrim, all Gamwich textures, Pillows from the ElSopa Small Compilation Pack, Luminosity and Embers HD.

There's no lack of Breezehome mods, I know, and yet I had to make my own. I designed it for my personal use first and foremost, but why not share it with the community just in case anyone likes it? So here you are - a few subtle edits to the vanilla home, that keep close to the original feel of Breezehome as a simple starter home.

What I edited:

  • All beds have been changed from Common to Upperclass - still rather simple, but it doesn't involve hay
  • When you buy the children's bed, the Alchemy bench is moved upstairs - it's a perfectly fine crafting bench, why would you throw it away?
  • Oven, butter churn and mead barrel from Hearthfire have been added to the kitchen
  • A few containers have been added
  • Upstairs you'll find a small cot, so you can have a guest without kicking out Lydia

All changes have been included in the vanilla upgrades, so you have to buy all decorations like normal.

NB: the mod is asset-free. If the pictures look different from vanilla is because of other mods I'm using, that is to say Noble Skyrim, all Gamwich textures, pillows from ElSopa Small Compilation Pack, Luminosity and Embers HD.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
