About this mod Machine translation
A simple animal follower system. Supports up to 50 followers, each follower can set a home.
Can tame almost any animal you encounter. Tamed animals become potential followers, and you can set up their homes and have them wait/follow just like you would any standard follower, the main difference being that they are commanded via a menu rather than a dialog box. The reason for this is largely technical, as the dialogue option would require adding speech types to animal NPCs, which would be too intrusive/complicated to implement.
You can manage up to 50 animals at a time, and you can turn it off permanently if you no longer want an easy option. They are not necessary and may die, so you need to take care of them. If someone dies, they are logged out immediately and a slot is freed.
This mod only has basic functionality. If you're looking for something more advanced, check out Master Trainer.
feature:
Tame almost any animal NPC from the vanilla game or installed mod (must have ActorTypeAnimal keyword)
Up to 50 managed animal followers
(Optional) Set up a home for them
Can be summoned when lost
Lightweight, no substitutions, no polling scripts
tame:
If you encounter any problems, please refer to the tutorial video
Purchase the Tame Animal Illusion spell from Drevis Neloren at Winterhold College
Find and learn mantra spells (calming/calming/etc.).
Before an animal can be tamed, it must be under the influence of a spell
First put the animal under the spell spell and then hit it with tame animal
Manual installation:
Drag and drop the "Data" folder into your Skyrim SE installation directory and enable nPetFollowers.esp
compatibility:
Should be compatible with everything, but be careful not to:
Manage any NPCs already managed by other follower frames
Manage special animal NPCs like Barbas as it may disrupt quests related to that NPC.
other:
No other mods are required and no records in Skyrim.esm will be overwritten. If an SKSE is detected, the taming/death notification will show its name, otherwise it will just show "animal" or "pet".
Horses are not supported yet.
Currently, the mod is in beta, so issues may arise. I did a lot of testing, but no doubt I missed something. Please report any issues you find and I'll try to fix it as soon as possible.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
