Added craftable silver arrows and crossbow bolts to the game.

While vampires were once a threat, few people today remember them. Something has been lost that should not be forgotten. History becomes legend. Legends became myths. Two thousand years in one year...wait, that's another story.

Vanilla Skyrim has a silver sword that does extra damage to undead, but has no effect on marksman characters. So Silver Arrows is a mod that adds fearsome silver arrows and crossbow bolts to the game.

Over time, both arrows and bolts do some damage to undead, ghosts, werewolves, and vampires.

Arrowheads and bolts can be crafted and used once the dragon has steel forged.

To be more specific:

• Arrows and bolts have a base damage of 12

-Applies 12 points of damage over time for 3 seconds, then applies a -50% cone of damage for 3 seconds

• Silver bolts can only be crafted if you join Dawnguards
• Assuming the Dragonborn decides to join the Dawnguards, only Gunmar and Sorine Jurard sell silver arrows and bolts
• If you're lucky, you might find a handful of arrows to purchase from the sneaky Khajiit merchants traveling around Skyrim.

I'd like to keep the silver arrows and bolts, but don't expect to find them in blacksmith, merchant, or boss chests.

Install:

Use your favorite mod manager or extract the files to the Skyrim Data folder.

There are two versions of the mod:

a) Master file for vanilla production

b) The second one under Optional Files is for Ars Metallica users. It changes the handmade formula, adding craft feathers and leather stripes. If you have Ars Metallica installed, use this version.

Both arrows and bolts do some damage over time against undead, ghosts, werewolves and vampires.

Arrows and bolts are craftable and are available once the dragonborn has the steel smithing perk.

More specific:

• Arrows and bolts have a base damage of 12
• Apply 12 damage over time for 3 sec, with an additional -50% tapering damage for another 3 sec
• You can craft silver bolts only if you have join the Dawnguards
• Only Gunmar and Sorine Jurard are selling silver arrows and bolts, assuming that Dragonborn has decided to join the Dawnguards
• If you are lucky you may find to buy a small amount of arrows from those sneaky Khajiit merchants travelling around Skyrim.

I wanted to keep silver arrows and bolts somehow rare, so don't expect to find them in blacksmiths, merchants or in boss chests.
