About this mod Machine translation
Fantasy/Realism ENB preset with focus on screen archery and customization.
Initially, this preset should focus, and almost exclusively, on on-screen archery (kind of like Oldrim's Snap Dragon ENB). This remains the main focus of the preset and includes some new unique features that should come in handy.
Not only does switching between different styles benefit screen design, it also helps everyone who wants to customize his presets and me add more options to quickly and extensively adjust the settings that require them. Combined with the detailed tutorial I've written below, it should be easy to tweak the presets just the way you want.
That doesn’t mean the preset won’t look good without some tweaking! The basic preset is fine for now and represents the way I want my ENB to look. I only include customization options because everyone wants a different look for his/her ENB and to make it as easy and fast as possible to achieve this.
The preset is currently only tested in Hessian weather!
Support for other weather mods is planned!
You could try using it with other weather mods, but I don't know what it would look like!
I also use the ELFX+ enhancer for my screenshots, so install that too if you want the same look I have.
Now, let's get into the nitty gritty of the presets - what features can you expect?
Style and color correction
ENB contains 9 larger styles (LUTS+) and some smaller ones (normal LUTS), which are now switchable.
They range from a good all-around preset (Main) to something more stylized and cinematic (Hellstrom/Melancholy).
They can be used to create the desired atmosphere for your screenshots, or simply customize the presets.
ENB environment blocking
Because vanilla ambient occlusion is a joke on character screenshots.
Bloom
Not only does it enhance bright lights, it also softens images without affecting detail and brings more color to certain styles.
underground scattering
Greatly improved lighting of translucent materials such as skin. Transform skin from plastic to reality.
rain
More realistic rain and environmental refraction. If you don't like it, you can easily disable it.
Field Depth+
High-quality DoF with some neat and unique features like focusing your mouse, color-corrected DoF areas or a built-in green screen.
lens
There are two types of lenses available. One of them produces a more realistic and heavier lens effect, the other is a more subtle version from Oldrim Base ENB.
Anti-aliasing
SMAA is implemented into ENB and can be disabled. This is one of if not the best AA Special Edition ATM approach.
lighting room
Create the perfect mood for a specific screenshot, beyond what's possible including style.
Inside your ENB there is a "little" live Photoshop/Lighttroom that can customize everything to your liking.
Vignette
Unique custom miniature effects with four different blending modes. Again, it's easy to be disabled if you don't like it.
sharpen
Improve image quality by extracting texture details. "Bad Mask/Luma Sharpened on Steroids"
ENB night eye
Fixed night eyes by replacing normal eyes that were not working when using new customizable eNB.
performance
I've included two different versions for you to choose from. Complete and lighter variants.
Less demanding versions should give you 5 or more FPS returns, but it still doesn't have performance friendly ReShade presets or ENB without AO, SSS and DoF!
-lighter
The performance-intensive effect is diluted. Although the impact on performance is small, it still looks good. Suitable
Game and lighter screen archery if you have an intermediate system.
-full
The complete experience! Every effect looks the way it should. Good for gaming and movie archery alike, if you have a somewhat powerful system.
For more performance or quality tips, see the additional information in the Customize section!
planning features
Supports all popular weather MODS (can also light up MODS if desired)*
More styles
option to easily include your own LUTs as new styles …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
