About this mod Machine translation
A simple mod that displays the name and description of the Shadowmark you are viewing.
This is a simple mod that adds an activator to Shadowmarks, allowing you to see the name of the mark with just a glance. Activating it will draw references from the in-game book Shadowmarks. Text placement is done dynamically, meaning any mods that place Shadowmarks in the world should display correctly without requiring compatibility patches, as long as they use an existing Shadowmark TextureSet.
Until you find the game book Shadowmarks or join the Thieves Guild, you won't be able to read the Shadowmarks, they will just look like weird symbols to you. If you really can't find the book, or do a task, you can spawn the book using the console, or use the command:
Set ShadowmarkBookObtained to 1

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
