About this mod Machine translation
Simple textural alternatives, paired with some white shabby chic furniture, add color to civilian life. This is a lighter version of Garnet's "Shabby Furniture".
I didn't create two of the textures, but picked them from the "Shabby Furniture" Oldrim model released by Garnet in 2014.
Kudos, great idea and great job!
Unfortunately, I didn't find an SE port of this mod. Plus, I didn't want to have too much furniture everywhere or have another ESP.
Therefore, this lighter version will only transform some ordinary items found in ordinary houses, kitchens and hotels, such as small chairs, tables, benches, pantries, cupboards, crates, bedside lockers and beds.
Yes, sometimes a single white chair on a porch looks a little out of place, but that’s the price to pay…
This mod won't change any expensive furniture (or you can find them for budget purchase from now on).
What it can do:
Replaces the 'dresser01' and 'furniturewood01' textures with the original 'shabby furniture' texture of garnet
Replace texture "woodenchair01" with new custom texture
Add another new custom texture called "woodpostfurniture01"
Change the meshes "farmbench01", "fartable01", "fartablebench01" and "fartablebench02" to point to this new texture - previously they would use the same stake texture as the actual stakes, making it impossible to texture them individually.
Please note: From this point forward, the four farm items will not be affected by any other texture overhauls unless their meshes are also replaced. If you don't want to do this, choose the "No Table Benchs" version.
How it works:
Install using your favorite Mod Manager
Or directly put the Textures and Meshes folder into the Sykrim Data directory manually
Hope you like it. Make life in Skyrim more fresh :-)

I did not create two of these textures but took them from Garnet´s "Shabby Furniture" Oldrim mod from 2014.
Kudos, great idea and great work!
Unfortunately, I did not find a SE port of this mod. Also, I wanted not so much retextured furniture everywhere and I did not want to have another ESP.
Therefore, this lighter version will only change some commoner items in commoner houses, kitchens and inns, such as the little chairs, tables, benches, pantries, cupboards, crates, bedside lockers and beds.
And yes, sometime a single white chair on a porch looks a bit out-of-place but that´s the price to pay...
This mod will not change any of the noble furniture (or you can spot their budget purchases from now on).
What it does:
Replaces the textures "dresser01" and "furniturewood01" with Garnet´s original Shabby Furniture texture
Replaces the texture "woodenchair01" with a new custom texture
Adds another new custom texture called "woodpostfurniture01"
Changes the meshes "farmbench01", "farmtable01", "farmtablebench01" and farmtablebench02" to point to this new texture - previously, these would use the same woodpost texture as the actual wood post which made it impossible to texture them separately.
Please note: From this point on, these four farm items will not be affected by any other texture overhaul, unless their meshes are also replaced. If you don´t want this, select the "No Table Benches" version.
How it works:
Install using your favourite mod manager
Or simply drop the Textures and Meshes folders manually into your Sykrim Data directory
Hope you enjoy. Making the life in Skyrim a bit more fresh:-)

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
