Serio's Spell and Shout Hotkeys
Cycle through 5 different spell combinations with just 1 button.
Up to 25 storable spell sets.
Mod summary:
This MOD adds 5 hotkey potions to players.
Each potion can store up to 5 sets of spells.
Favorite potion and set as any vanilla hotkey.
Use hotkeys to cycle through and equip your spell set.
New: Weapons and shields can now be added (see section below). Open using the Options menu.
Step by step instructions:
Select a potion from the inventory or Favorites menu to configure your set.
Select the "loop" you want to set up.
The "Cycle" menu will prompt to store spells equipped in your right hand, left hand, and voice/power slots into the designated cycle.
You can choose yes, no or empty hand (for hand slot).
Empty hands will clear the hand when equipping this device.
You must have spell/prompt functionality for the menu to prompt for storage.
Select "No" for each option in the cycle menu to reset it.
Each potion can be stored in up to 5 sets.
favorite potion and set it as a quick menu hotkey.
Use off-menu potions to cycle between spell sets.
Potions are spam friendly.
NOTE: 10 of each potion is assigned to the player and remains at 10 so that players can spam hotkeys without dropping the potion from the Favorites menu. 10 may not be needed, but it won't hurt.
Option details:
By default, potions will initially only show the "Cycle 1" option.
Fill out the first loop to unlock the option to set up the next loop, and so on.
Resetting a loop will truncate the loop after it. That is, resetting period 2 will make period 3 the new period 2.
Reset All - Resets all loops for the selected section.
Timeout - How long it takes for the cycle to "forget" the current location (default: 2.5 seconds).
Weapons/Shields - Toggles the ability to use weapons/shields using hotkeys (see section below).
Timeout options - 5 seconds (default); 20 seconds; 1 minute; never
When a hotkey cycle times out, a notification will be displayed.
Notifications can be disabled in the Timeout options menu.
Using a different hotkey potion will reset all other potion cycle positions to 1, regardless of the timeout option selected.
NOTE: The timeout and default loop reset are memory functions, so you don't have to remember where the loop was at the y position x seconds ago.
Weapons and Shields:
Weapon and shield support is turned off by default. Use the Options menu to turn it on.
Weapons: If you have more than one of the same weapon stored on a hotkey, the game will equip whatever version of the weapon you want. This question will remain open until I find out how to obtain and store this exact weapon. Please note that you can only have at most 1 identical weapon in your inventory.
Shields: Same goes for weapons, but adds another problem. Shields with player enchantments will not have the enchantment applied if the shield is equipped using the hotkey. This is a vanilla script bug and requires SKSE.
Side note: Weapons cannot be stored for the left hand. SKSE is required.
Known issues/warnings:
This mod may add 20 potions on installation instead of 10. It's not ideal, but it's nice.
When cycling through shout/power, wait for the "click" of the power change before firing shout/power. (I've tried my best to make this response as fast as possible.)
It's really easy to forget that these are potions and not actual hotkeys. therefore...
If a potion is used, the invisibility effect ends.
Using a potion on Ethereal consumes the potion instead of running a script to equip the spell set and end the Ethereal effect.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
