Small cabins with stunning views, perfect as a home for players or followers.
Welcome to Secundas Kiss Cabin
This is a single room cabin overlooking the giant camp in Secundas Kiss with almost all of the Tundra in sight.
Mine is initially intended as a home for minions, but it is also a starting or secondary home for players.
The interior and exterior layout is practical, comfortable, and minimalist; the bed is not owned by the player as it could be home to a possible follower.
The cabin is located on the trail leading from the Secundas Kiss giant campground to the mountains and Riverwood. (or vice versa...)
Incorporating "full disclosure" stuff: full navigation inside and outside the cabin, with external navigation linked to vanilla Scenic Navigation. I tested it extensively with different fans and everything went well. However, if you run the mod through TES5 you will get the dreaded "removed navmesh found" warning. I didn't actually delete anything, but it doesn't matter if the game thinks I did and it can't be undone and that could be caused by any number of things when making and connecting the navmesh.
Theoretically this could cause mod conflicts, but unless you're running a mod that plants something on the same cell which is very unlikely, like I said I've been using this mod for a while now with different character followers and have never had a problem. So I'm not going to remake the navmesh from scratch, nor am I going to reshape the problem. As with any mod usage, it is at your own discretion.
There is a specific ring hidden inside the pod, which is a cheat as it would normally require a mission to obtain it; (this mission sequence is not affected by this).
You will cheer if you find it... If you want a spoiler or hint of finding it let me know, I'm being vague on purpose.
The image was taken from zhoulia's loaded textured models for Solitude and Whiterun, affecting the look of the cabin, the cabin looks less colorful without those, but I highly recommend her work. I believe this is responsible for the appearance of the cabin roof tiles.
Hope you enjoy this cozy cabin and a big thank you to Stroti for the wonderful cabin resources!
Thanks also to Bethesda for providing us with Skyrim and a way to modify it.
New in 1.3 1.2:
Mapmarker is now invisible until you discover the Cabin yourself.
Added some outdoor light sources since the stairs can be dark at night.

Welcome to Secundas Kiss Cabin
This is a single room Log cabin overlooking the Giants camp of Secundas Kiss and a view over nearly all the Tundra.
I made it originally as a Follower home but it also serves as a starter or secondary home for the Player.
The layout inside and outside is practical and cozy and quite minimal; the bed is not Player owned because it was intended as a possible Follower home.
The cabin can be found along the path leading from Secundas Kiss giant camp up and over the mountain toward Riverwood. (or the other way around...)
Couple things for "full disclosure": The cabin is fully navmeshed inside and out and the exterior navmesh links to the vanilla landscape navmesh. I tested it extensively with different followers and it all works smooth. However if you run the mod through TES5 you will get the dreaded "found deleted navmesh" warning. I did not actually delete any but that does not matter if the game thinks I did and it cannot be undone and could have been caused by a number of things while making and connecting the navmesh.
In theory this can cause mod conflicts, but unless you run a mod that plants something on this same cell that is highly unlikely and like I said I have used this mod for awhile now on different characters with followers and never had an issue. Therefore I am not going to remake the navmesh from scratch or the mod for that matter; as with any mod use at your own discretion.
There is also a certain ring hidden inside the cabin that is a cheat as it normally r …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
