Open Dragon Priest Mask
Requires SKYRIM 1.9 or higher. Older versions are not supported.
Update 1.2
SkyRe users, the moment you've been waiting for (some not as patient as others) is here! Update 1.2 brings a SkyRe compatibility patch for all variants, courtesy of {ellKnight}, who kindly volunteered his patching services. These files are now available as a BAIN-ready download in the Main Files section of Wrye Bash/Mod Organizer/Manual Installer, or as separate files in the Optionals section for NMM users.
If you like their work, don't forget to give {ellKnight and Calyps an endorsement/credit! If you feel like giving me a credit while you're at it, I won't say no. :d
For any questions regarding the Khajiit plugin or SkyRe version, please let us know in the comments. We will accept it.
(Very vague) Future plans: I hope to rationalize the number of download files for this mod; so I plan to learn how to make a proper NMM installer - and maybe learn a little NifSkope. Assuming I can manage the latter, Bandoliers compatibility may be on the way soon. Still, don't start holding your breath.
Update 1.1
Hello. Luinithil here I will provide you with the latest updates on this mod. *wave*
Breaking News: ODPM has now been updated in the Creation Kit to work with the latest version of Skyrim (version 1.9.32). Please update your Skyrim installation accordingly.
Bug Fix: Only Cloth ESP can properly use the Mage Armor perk. All USKP bugfixes (USKP version 1.3.2c) to the Dragon Priest mask and its in-game description have been forwarded to this mod, including a 20% reduction in Morokei's shout cooldown.
What does this mean for current users? Relax, you don't need USKP to run this mod since it's not the master, you can still get USKP fixes. However, it is definitely recommended that you get and install unofficial patches, as USKP and other unofficial patches fix more than just issues with the Dragon Priest mask...
Khajiit-loving players rejoice! You can now enjoy Khajiit-specific versions of the Outfit Only, Heavy Armor Only, and Light Armor exclusive add-ons. Now available under optional files.
describe
Replaces the total coverage version of the mask with the open version. Never wear dragon priest masks because they look too weird or obscure your character's face? This mod offers a variant of Dragon Priest Helmus that doesn't fully cover the face, for those who prefer to still look like their character while wearing it. Additionally, hoods can now be crafted instead of being built into the mask. Both male and female versions are available.
I may make more variations in the future.
If you downloaded this from anywhere, you did not get the latest supported version.

compatibility
Dragonborn user: I've asked Calyps if he could consider rounding up the set. There is no firm answer yet.
SkyRe Users: Coming Soon, Very Friendly Politeness} {ellKnight! He is currently working on a new set of patches to make this mod compatible with SkyRe. Their patch should be ready within a few days.
Bandoliers Users: I've seen your request to change the slots used for this mod. I've submitted your request to Calyps: However, replacing the slots requires dealing with the grid. I'm not good at messing with meshes or textures, which means Calyps needs to spend time working on Nifskope - which he can't quite give up just yet due to other projects he's working on. If anyone knows how to use NifSkope and is willing to tackle the project, please let me know.
Install
To install, place the \data\ folder into the <>\Skyrim directory and activate the .esp in the data file, or use your mod manager. If you are looking for a mod manager you can try: Mod Organizer, Wrye Bash and of course NMM.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
