About this mod Machine translation
Wear the Dragon Priest Mask on the side of your head so that it does not obscure your face.
ATTN: This MOD does not contain textures! ! ! Thanks.
Original Skyrim Edition
I decided to make a little mod because I didn't see anyone else trying it, but here it is!
premise
Have you ever wanted to wear a Dragon Priest mask without covering up your character's pretty face? Do you still want to wear it and wear it in a place that benefits more from its charm and armor class? Or just want to dress more fashionably? Well, there you go! Now you can wear Dragon Priest masks without them covering your entire face, giving them more purpose for glamor while looking more stylish!
I know my photos mainly show women, but my mod works on men too! Race with the beast! Custom races will also work (if they have DefaultRace or any of the playable vanilla races as ArmorRace). Cropping may be involved, but if there are any major issues please let me know.
Where to buy?
Craft items from the original Dragon Priest mask at the forge. You can use one of my masks and leathers to restore them to their original shape. Thanks to Warmongers Armory for the clever idea of wearing a belted mask.
Disclaimer: Some of the masks in the image use textures from other mods that are not yet available for Special Edition, but you should be able to
The textures for this map along with the optional content I downloaded from the original Skyrim version of the mod.
Require
None, but one of the optional files does. Apopysis Dragon Priest Masks SE is technically not required (as it's just a texture), but I redirected the texture paths for the texture set I created for the Apophysis Side Dragon Priest Masks Addon to match the file paths of the textures being used. If you try to use Apophysis DPM SE without specifying it, the texture will be lost.
Install
Install directly to data folder or use mod manager. The order in which optional files and required textures are installed does not matter.
Uninstall
Go to a blacksmith and restore any of the Dragon Priest's masks to their normal state, otherwise you'll lose them. Delete SideDragonPriestMasks.esp and all still running SDPM_.... esps. Delete all files in the meshes\armor\imacobra directory, including the imacobra folder itself.
compatibility
My mask did not (initially) replace the original Dragon Priest mask. They need to make their own masks with masks. This way, no original records are edited, so it should be compatible with all records.
They cannot be placed in the bust of Bromjunaar Sanctuary (Labyrinthian) or any modded Dragon Priest bust. If you want to display them, just return them to normal.
Vanilla - Does not replace the original DP mask.
USSEP - I have to check again.
Dragonborn - Dragonborn mask not included.
Apophysis Dragon Priest Masks SE - Optional file matching texture path, available for download.
My mod has no edits to the Masked Dragon Priests, so any mod that modifies them is fully compatible with my mod.
Permissions
Please give me the afternoon.
credit
None of the optional downloads contain any files from the mod I specified. I just redirected the file path in esps to match
Those are files from other retexture mods, so you can use the optional files without them, but you'll be missing a texture or two anyway.
Billyro - The mesh used to secure the Konahrik side cowls so they don't disappear at certain angles and helped me add a visible back to the cowl. Thanks Billy!
acobral - Use Elder Blood ENB to take most of my screenshots.
Neisa (Pandea_Work), Mour (KUMANEKO team), Acalypha (KUMANEKO team), Mirai (kaleidx), Lelyn (acobral), Nar'Tul (acobral), Vilja (Emma), Inigo (Smartbluecat), Amalia (Ria), Arissa (Chesko), Kitiara (????), Velina Velaire (Poro Plush), Sofia (John Jarvis), Caesia (anbeegod) and Recorder (potasticpanda) are great models for my masks! They are written by their respective authors, not me.
My mod completely excludes the unique Dragon Priest Masks (skyrimaguas), Apophysis …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
