Scottish Claymore Smithing SSE

This is an SSE port of Claymore Smithing, Scotland, with permission from his author. Using the Steel Smithing perk, you can craft Steel Clay at any forge and strengthen it as your Light Armor Smithing skill levels up. This mod adds blacksmithing capabilities to Billyro's Scottish Claymore, used with permission and my thanks.

This mod is standalone, you don't need to install the Scottish Claymore mod for SSE.

Scotland CLAYMORE SMITHING

This mod is for Billyro's Scottish Claymore (

The original ("Stendarr's Claymore") can be found east of Rorikstead.

Using the Steel Smithing perk, you can craft Steel Clay at any forge and strengthen it as your Light Armor Smithing skill levels up.

Elf Smith lets you transform your clay even more into "glorious clay";

Advanced armor lets you craft a whetstone from moonstone ore (under "Miscellaneous" in the forge) and improves your clay to "sharpen"; that

Claymore can eventually be improved through the Dragon Armor forging.

Each version uses an earlier claymore as the main component (I imagine them as the same weapons, maintenance and improvements) and lists

Under the fake "steel". All versions are fully recoverable on any whetstone.

Installation: Drag the Scottish Claymore Smithing.esp and Scottish Claymore Smithing.bsa files into your data folder and enable them.

Remove: Disable the plugin. The esp and bsa files can then be deleted; you will lose the clay, but nothing else will be affected.

SCOTTISH CLAYMORE SMITHING

This mod adds smithing capability to Billyro's Scottish Claymore ( which is used by permission and with my thanks.

The original ("Stendarr's Claymore") can be found east of Rorikstead.

With the Steel Smithing perk, you can craft a steel claymore at any forge and enhance it as your Light Armor smithing skill advances.

Elven Smithing allows you to improve the claymore to a "burnished claymore";

Advanced Armors allows you to craft a whetstone from moonstone ore (under "Misc" at the forge) and improve your claymore to "honed"; the

claymore can be finally enhanced with the Dragon Armor smithing perk.

Each version uses the earlier claymore as the main component (I've imagined them as the same weapon, maintained and improved) and is listed

under "Steel" at the forge. All versions are fully temperable at any grindstone.
