Make Summermyst conform to Immersive Jewelry's Charming Strength keyword, and make Immersive Jewelry conform to Summermyst's Charming FormID list.
A relatively simple mod that makes Summermyst and Immersive Jewelry compatible, and corrects some bugs in the inner workings of Immersive Jewelry.
question:
- Apply Summermyst's enchantments to device categories based on a list of FormIDs listing which device keywords are allowed to have various enchantments. Immersive Jewelry has introduced eight new keywords to categorize its bracelets, earrings, and more - these new keywords are not included in Summermyst's listings, causing Summermyst enchantments to not work with the new jewelry categories.
- Immersive Jewelry implements a series of keywords based on the constituent materials of various jewelry, and applies modifiers to the modification strength based on those materials and the materials used in weapons and armor. Many Summermyst enchantments do not use the keyword Immersive Jewels to link their own keywords to, causing these enchantments to be excluded from the system.
My solution:
- I divided the new jewelry categories into three categories - bracelets, earrings, and earrings are grouped by rings, while necklaces, high necklaces, and tors are grouped by necklaces, paired with crowns and hoops. Then, add these eight keywords to each Summermyst FormID list according to their group. However, in the unrestricted version, the contents of all these lists are unified, allowing any non-weapon enchantment to be placed on any non-weapon item.
- I applied keywords to Summermyst enchantments that more or less suited their effects while allowing them to benefit from Immersive Jewelry's enchantment system.
Other fixes include removing duplicate/conflicting entries related to the enchanting rewards of Immersive Jewelry.
NOTE: While doing this I noticed that the device types introduced in Dragonborn have nothing to do with IJ's system. While this makes sense since none of them come with any associated jewels, it does result in weapons and armor not benefiting from any specific enchantment, except that Stalhrim has an innate bonus to cold-based enchantments. I may release an updated version in the future that implements them into the system.

A relatively simple mod making Summermyst and Immersive Jewelry compatible, as well as correcting some errors in Immersive Jewelry's inner workings.
THE ISSUES:
- Summermyst's enchantments are applied to equipment classes according to a set of FormID lists, setting out which equipment keywords are permitted to have various enchantments. Immersive Jewelry introduces eight new keywords to categorize its bracelets, earrings and so on - these new keywords are not included in Summermyst's lists, resulting in Summermyst enchantments not being applicable to the new jewelry classes.
- Immersive Jewelry implements a series of keywords based on the component materials of various pieces of jewelry, and applies modifiers to enchantment strength based on those materials, as well as the materials used in weapons and armor. Many Summermyst enchantments do not use the keywords that Immersive Jewelry links its own keywords to, resulting in those enchantments being left out of the system.
MY SOLUTIONS:
- I categorized the new jewelry classes into three types - bracelets, earrings and ear wraps are grouped with rings, while chokers, high necklaces and torcs are grouped with necklaces, and crowns are paired with circlets. These eight keywords were then added to each of the Summermyst FormID lists according to their group. In the Unrestricted version, however, the contents of all these lists are unified, allowing any non-weapon enchantment to be placed on any non-weapon item.
- I applied keywords to the Summermyst enchantments that more or less fit their effects, while allowing them to benefit from Immersive Jewelry's enchanting system.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
