About this mod Machine translation
The purpose of the relief is to enhance the artefact with a minimalist approach. None of the artifacts have effects not found in vanilla, nor are they made too powerful.
Reliquary is my attempt to improve relics that I feel need improvement. I try to balance the power of the artifacts I change so that they don't become irrelevant by enchantment, nor do they make the enchantment skill irrelevant.
Read on to see which artifacts have been changed.
If there's an artifact not listed here, I feel like it's just as good as vanilla, or forget about it.
GAULDUR AMULET(&FRAGMENTS):
When casting a spell, the casting cost is reduced by 15%, the magic power is increased by 150 points, the magic regeneration speed is increased by 150%, and the magic resistance is 15%.
The shards have the power of a complete amulet. (5% spell cost reduction and magic resistance, +50 Magicka and 50% Magicka regen)
Can you tell me that important and powerful amulet that can give me an extra 30 points of health, magic and stamina? No, this thing should actually be worth a shot.
DAEDRIC ARTIFACTS
Hammer of Molag Bal:
Damage magic/stamina effects changed to Absorb Magicka/Stamina
Except for whatever reason this artifact would be awesome, even though in older games it had Absorb Magicka, vanilla Skyrim also had it...damage magicka and stamina? Why would you want to use it other than it looks cool?
Breaking method:
Number of wards increased to 200 points
Spellbreaker is a very cool shield. Too bad the ward it offers is only 10 points better than the small ward. Make it stronger.
Dawnbreaker:
Fire damage increased to 35
Base damage increased to 14 (same as Daedric Sword)
Can one actually benefit from Daedric Smithing (USSEP doesn't include this fix for some reason)? )
Dawnbreaker is a good sword. Sadly, I could make something better with level 40 enchantments.
DRAGON PRIEST MASKS
Hevnoraak:
One- and two-handed weapons deal 30% more damage, gain 50 health points, and regenerate health 100% faster.
When I think "savage" I definitely don't think fucking disease and poison immunity.
Morokei:
Changed to clothing
This mask is already pretty good. If you're using the unofficial patch (which I'm assuming you are, because why wouldn't you be?), it actually gives Morokei its only charm! This is the same as vanilla, but with a 20% lower cooldown. Not bad, but putting on the armor allows it to be used with Mage Armor.
Nahkriin:
+50 Magic, all spells cost 20% less to cast.
Changed to clothing
Nahkriin is a very good mask and I often find myself using it on top of Arch-Mage's robes. It's armor though...so I fixed it and gave it Vokun's old effect. Now it's a tasty alternative to Morokei's mage mask.
Vokun:
Change to light armor
Sneaking is 20% better, lockpicking is 20% better, and pickpocketing is 20% better. Mavers movement.
For a mask called "Shadow," it certainly has nothing to do with invisibility.
Rahgot:
+100 Stamina, 100% increased Stamina regeneration, 20% increased Fortify Shouts... so I just go through all of this to get a +70 stamina mask that I can make myself with my own helmet, and maybe better enchant? The name is spot on and this mask made me a fan in vanilla because of how useless it is!
Konahrik:
This toothy mask gives you access to Konahrik's perks, giving you various effects when you're low on health, such as restoring your health and giving you a cloak of fire, or rarely summoning a spectral dragon priest to protect you. Additionally, it provides 25% spell absorption, and 35% Shout cooldown reduction.
Konahrik is a great headgear. Did you know it has a higher level of protection than the Daedric helmet? The vanilla effect is actually pretty unique, so I kept it but added a little something extra to entice you to actually wear it with all your other masks.
MIRAAK SET
The effects are the same in all versions, the only difference between levels is the damage on the sword and the armor rating on the mask. These values a …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
