RUSTIC FROSTBITE SPIDER is a high-resolution retcon of the overlooked Frostbite Spider, for which Bethesda only made a 1K texture. Barely enough for the giant spider in the game.
RUSTIC FROSTBITE SPIDER is another series of rustic styles I designed for Skyrim. This creature arguably needed a facelift more than the Spriggans, as Bethesda never included the Frostbite Spider in its high-resolution packages.
Sadly, people insist on using 1K textures. For regular sized spiders this wouldn't be that bad, but giant spiders are huge and 1K textures just don't scale to scale that big. So I made really high-resolution textures for the creature, packing as many of them as possible.
Both 4K and 2K textures are available, so use the settings that work for you. Obviously, 4K will look better on the Giant Spider model, but not everyone can handle the VRAM load.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
