The video only shows a few locations, there are almost 100 locations around Skyrim

introduce:

The main question is why? Well I've been developing this mod for a long time, first for personal use only, inspired by the mod "People of Skyrim", which unfortunately has a lot of problems, but adds a lot of good things to the game.

I'm adding a lot of stuff every day, so I decided to publish these stuff as well for other users, thank you all for your support in the last period

This is it!

This is not the final version, which means that in the future (not soon), there may be updates to this mod, please feel free to contact me and suggest new ideas to me.

What this mod does:

In short, this mod will mostly add ruins and buildings, cemeteries, here and there,

Some ruins will have some events, others will have good and bad rewards,

Some of the other ruins are more vivid and reminiscent of some epic movie or TV series (Alien, Game of Thrones, Dragonheart, Legion, Lotor...etc.), and without spoiling the lore of the game, there are over 100 locations to check out.

All of this hinders the game's exploration

This mod only uses the game's vanilla assets, which means you may fall into some of the ruins that have always been in the game

and reduce the possibility of incompatibility with other modules,

I'm very careful to place all ruins out of reach of story events or civil wars etc.

The more obvious changes are, for example, in White Run,

I always thought Whiterun looked like a small village in the middle of a small town

In Skyrim, everyone passes

I have tried rebuilding parts of the old wall before the earthquake (externally) to give Whiterun a wider and larger presence

I will also suggest a list of mods that would obviously pair well with my work and be deeply integrated into the game

Most ruins are in ideal locations, so for example you'll see the ruins of the Norse in northern Skyrim (Windhelm/Solitude)

The Dwemer ruins in Markarth and various temple ruins in the Whiterun plan

There are lots of little places and details on the mountain (such as skulls carved into the rocks)

Like I mentioned before, find CITs for movies and series

For example Talosnauts (familiar to Lotr fans),

Two large statues of Talos protect the entrance to the river

I want to give you more, but I hope you'll enjoy looking around for more places

See pictures for more details (video coming soon)

A small post verse, while I was working on this mod, my grandma passed out and I couldn't say her goodbye because I live 3000km away from her, which made me sad and I created a little memory of her. Beautiful place near Riverwood, please leave a flower if you find this place.

Install:

Very simple - this is a simple esp add mod to your manager or manually put the esp into your data folder

Framing:

Use manager or delete rules.esp

ability:

As far as I know it's compatible with mods that add locations or buildings in the same location I'm working on, it won't crash to the desktop but will put the building into the tree and vice versa, (I don't think I'm selecting locations too much, sorry, but I don't use houses for players so I don't know what's wrong, eventually let me know)

Know the problem may be Navmeshes, I've looked into most of them and there shouldn't be a problem, but please report any issues

It's also ETAC compatible, hopefully when we have the conversion

Incompatibilities:

The only issue I found is the compatibility with the mod "Whiterun's Great Forest", the mod needs a patch otherwise it's easy to see the ruins and trees inside the buildings

Patches can be found here The Great Forest of Whiterun Patches

Mods Recommendations:

(Some mods are hidden but can be easily found elsewhere)

Just bigger trees …

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
