Meet Robyn Direnni; a skilled ice-destroying swordsman equipped with spells from nearly every school of magic! A real-life female Breton in battle, lore open to interpretation, and any questions vanilla fans have suffered from.

Robyn Direnno follows a similar fighting style to Teldryn Sero, except she also has excellent shooting skills and stealth skills, so she's not useless when she draws her bow (which some people do even if they're not inherently archers), and she won't trigger traps or bother enemies when you try to sneak around.

Robyn Direnno is a custom follower designed using only Skyrim.esm and Dragonborn.esm files, so she is completely vanilla. As of now, Robyn uses standard follower dialogue (no custom voices) and has no tasks attached. She is fully compatible with follower dialogue mode. This is my first pattern, but it's taken me a lot of time to balance and develop, and she and I are very grateful for all the support and/or constructive feedback I've received.

Robyn Direnno 1.0 can be found wandering near the Apprentice Stones in Hjaalmarch, where she can be recruited at any time.

Robyn Direnno 1.2 (and any other installment) can be found at The Frozen Hearth Inn in Winterhold, where she can recruit, marry, and/or hire the stewards of any Hearthfire household at any time.

Notice:

If you want Robyn to look like she does in the picture, you will need the "Total Character Makeover" mod created by Scarla. Any other face/body overhaul mods will also work.

Downloading an update for this mod while installing an older version?

If you are already married to Robyn Direnno and/or designated her as housekeeper, you must divorce her and/or release her stewardship (using other mods or console commands) before downloading the update. Before downloading the update, make sure to retrieve any gear or items you may have given her before completing the following instructions:

If she follows you, fire her.

Save your game.

Return to the main menu.

Disable mods in the in-game mod menu.

Load to last save.

Save your game again (preferably a new save, just in case).

Exit the desktop (quit the game).

Download the mod update (if you haven't already).

Open the game.

Enable the mod from the game menu.

If you want to use a "newer" Robyn in an older save file, the same steps apply, just make sure not to overwrite the old save file with the newer save file.
