RIS - Real Ice and Snow

OLDRIM BEST SNOW MOD #2, finally a top with updated mesh and texture! Snow that looks like real snow. The icicles look like real icicles. Icebergs look like real icebergs. Icefloes look like real icefloes.

This SSE version is not exactly the same as the Oldrim version. All textures are polished, it uses different textures and meshes to make ice and glaciers. This way it ensures compatibility with other mods, as well as the vanilla way of how SSE handles ice and snow.

1.Install the plug-in

If you decide that these files are not suitable for you, be sure to back up your original files.

To install, unzip the RIS.zip file into the Skyrim directory. Be sure to allow old files to be overwritten.

For maximum compatibility and to ensure good snowmelt everywhere, open the SkyrimPrefs.ini file and set (or add):

bEnableImprovedSnow = 0

Under the [Display] section.

2.Play plug-in

This is a series of textures (and meshes) that replace the snowy landscape, as well as the icy areas of Skyrim. You don't need to do anything extra to enjoy it.

What you get:

• Snow that looks like real snow. and gives the impression of more snow accumulating on the ground. The snowy areas will now be covered with more snow.
• Icebergs, glaciers and icefalls look real. In fact, these don't look like the ice cubes in your soda! None of them look like green glass!
• Icicles that look like real icicles.
• Fixed road seams on snowy roads
