About this mod Machine translation
Use a potion or your knowledge in Restoration or Alchemy to save someone from death.
This mod adds a fairly simple and hopefully immersive version of Revive's lesser powers for players. The chance of success is based on: (1 - Time) how long the target has been dead, (2 - Apply) the number of healing potions/ingredients used, and (3 - Knowledge) the player character's Restoration or Alchemy skill level. If the target dies within 40 minutes of the game, it cannot be revived. Player kills, decapitations, undead, dwarven automatons, Daedra and dragon targets are also unrecoverable.
ability indication
Equip Revive with lesser power.
Give healing potions/ingredients (up to 3) to the dead target [open the corpse's inventory and place your potions/ingredients into it] and/or equip a healing spell. (optional)
Face the target and activate the smaller force.
If the conditions are met (and smaller powers don't turn gray), your targets will glow yellow as if they're healing, and your screen will fade to black for a short time (for a hopefully immersive campaign illusion). Otherwise, nothing will happen, indicating that your target is likely dead.
If the recovery is successful, your target's health will be low and they will be bleeding and invulnerable for a while. If your target is an enemy, they are no longer hostile to you. They will also say their healing spell reaction dialogue if they have one available and if you have a healing spell equipped.
additional details
The maximum chance of success in applying the factor is only (3). (1) Healing potions/ingredients count as (1) variables. Equipping a healing spell on either hand or both also only counts as a (1) variable. Anything more than (3) - for example, three (3) healing potions/ingredients and equipped healing spells - is redundant and will only waste the extra potions/ingredients you added.
Using better potions or rarer ingredients does not improve your chances of success.
There is a 25% chance that the target will die irreversibly regardless of any factors.
As long as the conditions are met, you can try to revive multiple times. However, spamming the smaller power button will reduce power consumption over a period of time. I recommend not using Revive more than 3-5 times to avoid complications.
While a living corpse will never work against them, it can still be targeted. Don't waste time trying to restore them.

*Because "food" items (food, ingredients, potions) cannot be easily checked if they have magic effects for certain keywords (like MagicRestoreHealth), I had to manually add these items to the list. If you want other items (vanilla, DLC added, or mod added) to the list, you'll need to patch. Just add the items you want to '___RevivePotionsList' via Creation Kit or TES5Edit. In my opinion, mods that only change the name of a vanilla potion do not require patching.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
