Restore USSEP spell absorption ability modifier
Already having an idea for a mage build that relied on the vanilla spell absorption tendency to absorb the summoning spells you cast, I decided to bring it back. Requires Dawnguard and Dragonborn, probably pointless without USSEP.

Already having an idea for a mage build that relied on the vanilla spell absorption tendency to absorb the summoning spells you cast, I decided to bring it back. Requires Dawnguard and Dragonborn, probably pointless without USSEP.
I removed the "No Absorb/Reflect" flag from every summon and restoration spell that USSEP added it to, and "Guardian CIrcle", my research on the UESP wiki showed that bind spells were not affected (or at least they weren't mentioned), if anyone thinks I missed something I should have changed, or changed something I shouldn't have changed, just mention it in the post/comments and I'll see what I did (note: this idea) return to functionality before the unofficial patch fix, so I'm not saying USSEP /USLEEP bug fixes, just maybe I'm not the only one who doesn't have these specific ones that might want to play).
I also removed it from the Shadow Warrior Sneak Perk as it would also be absorbed in the vanilla game.
I believe I left all the abilities, powers, and diseases where they are since those are not spells (and there is a mode to restore this disease absorption, I'm also not sure if powers like the Black Book should be covered or not, so I chose "no").

I removed the "No Absorb/Reflect" flag from every summoning & reanimation spell I found where the USSEP had added it, and "Guardian CIrcle", my research on the UESP wiki suggested Bound spells weren't affected (or at least they weren't mentioned), if anyone thinks I've missed something I should've changed, or have changed something I shouldn't have, just mention it in the posts/comments & I'll see what I do (Note: The idea was return to functionality before the Unofficial Patch fixed stuff, so I'm not saying the USSEP/USLEEP fixes were wrong, just that it is possible that I'm not the only one who might want to play without these specific ones).
I also removed it from the Shadow Warrior Sneak Perk, as that was also subject to absorption in the vanilla game.
I believe i left it in place for all abilities, powers, & diseases, because those aren't spells (& there are mods to restore this absorption of diseases, also I wasn't sure whether things like the Black Book powers should be covered or not, so I went with "not").
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
