About this mod Machine translation
A small script picks up NPCs and followers near you - then adjusts their stats (HP/Stamina/Magicka) to be closer to your level. Also allows you to impose follower damage
This small script will pick up surrounding NPCs and followers - then adjust their stats on the fly; providing smoother gameplay difficulty
NPCs will immediately "rescale" once they are trapped near the player
"Max status" is calculated based on the player's level, similar to a player.
Their current stat distribution is recorded.
The NPC is then scaled to its "maximum state" based on its current state distribution.
All variables can be fine-tuned in the MCM menu.
The default setting for NPC max status is: Random (75% -> 135%) * (NPCLevel * 10 + 150)
NPCLevel can be up to 5 levels below the player or 10 levels above the player.
(Dragon/Priest/Mammoth/Giant) is the "boss" and has min%-max% of 150%-170% respectively
(Bear/Brecat/Werewolf/Vampire/Dramora/Troll/Centurion) are "mini-bosses", their Min%-Max% are 135%-150% respectively
All damage done by NPCs remains unchanged
entourage
Follower scaling is off by default, so you can configure it before turning it on.
Their stat scaling is purely a percentage of the NPClevel * StatPerLevel + StatBase formula.
All rescaled NPCs are resistant to 300 seconds of scaling, so changing follower configuration will require you to wait (at least 2 hours on the 20 timescale; 1 hour doesn't work, nor 2/3/4x the 1 hour wait).
No more self-consciousness about having more than 2 minions!
Faction settings
From gangsters to vampires, almost every faction is included under Individual Settings.
These %ges are multiplierable at the top of the Global Settings - for example dragons are affected by the All, Dragons and Boss sliders.
Exclusions
Any NPC belonging to the Government, Work, Crime, Town, Marriage, Player or Prey style factions are not subject to scripting
Any NPC with civilian style classes (such as beggars, merchants, blacksmiths, etc.) are not subject to scripting
configuration
Change any settings you want in the MCM menu.
The MCM menu may take a few seconds to be recognized.
Above and below level limits can be set to -1 and ignored.
compatibility
Works on any mod that creates or adds NPCs as it will run and rescale during gameplay
This mod relies heavily on factions to determine scaling, so some Follower mods will bypass rescaling (Sofia as I recall).
I do this because
Alternate starts take you to some crazy places
SoT Releveler is a good start, but ignores classes and cannot scale to level
Mihails monsters are all level 70, but often appear in low-level fortresses, e.g.
Keeping monsters/dragons at level 10 is boring - but MLU still gets huge rewards for this
Base Skyrim starts out rather restrictive and ends up being too easy. This should all help you.
Ashien's Cursed Ring does a good job of dialing down the minions' voices, but its stats are neither transparent nor easy to use.

(Bears / Sabrecats / Werewolfs / Vampires / Dremora / Trolls / Centurion) are "Mini Bosses" that have seperate Min%-Max% at 135%-150%
All damage an NPC deals is unchanged

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
